Monoiz is a solo project of Luca Moni. Born and raised in Florence after a past as guitarist in punk / hardcore band became interested in electronic music since the mid-90s. In 2005 he won the competition for emerging artists of Arezzo Wave Love Festival, opening concerts for artists like LCD Sound System and Soulwax. Currently the music Monoiz is not definable in a single genre, or the tracks that the live set sounds ranging from glitch, IDM, ambient, up to a contaminated deep and minimal techno.
