Biography:
Dominic Suter (vocals, guitar, key) and Raphael Rogenmoser (bass, vocals) formed Camp as students at Zurich University 2003. It took Dominic Suter a while to formulate his signature sound. Since 1996 he shared his affection for the sounds of early analogue synth-pop and synthesizer bands of the 80s in different projects. Raphael Rogenmoser was singer and bassplayer in different Indie-Rockbands in Lucerne. When he moved to zurich in 1997, he stopped playing music und started to dance all night long in zurichs electronic-scene. While finishing their studies, the twosome became more serious about Camp’s potential and asked Tosho Yakkatokuo for playing drums. Live, the trio fuse traditional instrumentation with electronics.
