Mohamed El Alouani, also known as Barzakh is a university student born in 1990 in the city of Tétouan, Morocco where he lives currently after living in different cities around the country during his childhood. He began by experimenting with sounds and after being influenced by such artists as Raison d'Etre, Arvo Part, and Cocteau Twins, his musical style has quickly evolved into what he describes as "blissful and cathartic ambient."
