With the tonal qualities of the instrument exposed to extreme repetition, the album’s crystal-clear sound gives birth to a field of ringing hammers, pealing bells, and the soft rhythmic motions of their echoes. Behind an energetic interplay of clicks, pops and noise, song structure re-emerges.
