Release Notes

In 1996, after the preliminary separation of the Dark Gothic band "ghosting", bassist Holger Wirth and producer and DJ Christian Michael founded the project Flatline. At first they worked with two guitarists in the same style as the previous called ‘Ghosting’ one.Holger and Christian but then decided to enrich the EBM scene and abandoned from then on the guitars. Influenced by the greats of the 80s, they struck new musical paths. The result was several compilations such as the "Made in Germany" Compilations 1 & 3 of the label "Fire Cracker" and an EP called "TOXIC BLOOD”.It was followed by several Supportgigs for bands such as Welle:Erdball, Estampie, Dance or Die, Crüxshadows and Funker Vogt, a compilation post on the "Dark Awakening 3" Compilation and they also won a remix contest on  ZILLO’s homepage for Funker Vogt's "Final Thrill", which finally was published on the "Revivor" album by Funker Vogt. The current album "ENJOY THE NOISE" was released by the band in 2009 as a free-download-version and now finally appears as an official release at Ionium Records - still available as free-download under a Creative Commons license and further more it’s now available in all major download stores.
