Although the Dark Net is widely recognized to be an underground and black market for illegal, illicit, and unethical activities, it is often much more generic in nature and is very loosely defined by its many hidden websites, accessed by many different people, all of them with seemingly innocent motives for personal gain, privacy, or security. However, this loose term is starting to encompass a much more diverse array of activities, including normal internet surfing, advertising frauds, identity theft, and even more dangerous things. It's all about gray areas.
