Spaced Out Sounds is an Australian micro-label dedicated to producing the finest sounds in Space Rock, Psychedelica, and anything truly alternative. Our music is eclectic - sometimes commercial, sometimes not, but always steering clear of the mainstream.
Our stable of artists is small but we are always willing to lend our limited promotional resources to artists who interest us, particularly local Australian acts. Every so often we produced a free CD sampler of artists who we believe deserve more attention. If you are producing music which is truly "out there" send us your stuff and we will consider you for inclusion.
Spaced Out Sounds were also heavily involved in the Terra Australis festival of 2002, Australia's first Space Rock and Psychedelica festival held in Brisbane. Hopefully there will be more events of this sort in the future.
