Whynolf's approach to composition is basically an outburst of obscure mental images and persistent sensations impossible to be expressed in other ways other than music. The result was a deep love for distorted, wrecking sounds and for the weirdness and brilliance of electronic underground, from Amon Tobin and Aphex Twin, to Portishead, Luke Vibert, Boards of Canada, all through Mount Kimbie, Neon Indian, Flying Lotus and many, many more.
