Artist Profile

Nino lived in Portugal until he was 18 years old. During that time, he made his first musical experiences as a singer of a trash metal band (now known as "Sincracy"). Apart from that, he bought a guitar and a cheap "zoom 505" and started recording a few psychedelic indie tracks.

After his stay in Portugal, he decided to live in Germany with his parents and brother and soon he continued his career as a singer in several garage bands.

* "Toxxic", (Rock/Pop cover band - 2000)
* "Keinplan" (Indie Punk - 2003)
* "Bleeding Geisha" (hardcore metal – 2006)

A part from that he started recording is first melanculia tracks at home, don't ever giving a damn about what the music industries like or not. He just bought a "minidisk" and a mic, a friend borough him a "virtualizer", and 2007 he released the first homemade set named "Indieca".

As he had so many tracks, he decided to release another set only 4 months later, including 13 new tracks. ("Spiders, Snakes & Butterflies")

During 2007 and 2009 nino gave a few concerts ("essen originell", "Festival der Liebe" and "ESG") and dedicated his free time to other side projects.

In 2009 melanculia finally released a new set called "maldita" ("damn").

Since 2010 "Din-Tah æon" is a fixed member of melanculia. He don't play live, but he is responsible for the additional guitars and basses and for a perfect mix on the upcoming albums.

Nowadays nino is also known as "n1n0", singer of "æon sable" and "deied"
