Fractured samples and delicate analog textures characterise the music of Herzog, a.k.a. Bill Bawden from South London, who has previously released music on Serein and 12Rec netlabels. For his fourth release, ‘First Summer and the Running Dream’, Herzog’s sounds are further augmented with a gauzy, laid-back edge. Influences range from Fennesz to The Microphones, from William Basinski to Windy & Carl.
