The project "Cableguys" was started in 1998. What was first a collaboration between various musicians, turned into a successful music software company. Cableguys member Jakob Rang, who published his first record on Bull Records (UCMG) back in 1995 at age 16, is still active in Berlin's music scene. The songs he writes are his testing range and personal playground for experiments with his own virtual machines. His musical range lies somewhere between funk, house, techno and progressive, influenced by everything he listens to.
