Based on the same concept of the “Mad Sunday” EP, Yasser introduces his new tune “Run & Tell” and calls in these times of tribulation the Peruvian singer Rebel-I for vocal assistance, running and telling to the four corners of the world that Babylon is falling down. Originally the title track has been included in Mexican Stepper’s digital LP “Piramide del Sol” from last year released on the French netlabel Original Dub Gathering.

But since Dubophonic likes to experiment and stir things together, we have called assistance from our extended family of artists and asked them to spread the conscious message of the tune in their own style and fashion. The result was twelve exclusive versions of the original tune, reconstructed and mixed all around the world, strengthening the bonds and proving one more time, that conscious dub music is an international thing. Among all versions there is one special dubplate by Mexican Stepper and five remixes by Injham (FR), Thriakis Dub Destroyer (FR), Koncrete Roots (UK), JahYu (GER) and Mr Zebre (MEX), as well as six alternative cuts/dubs by Du3normal (HUN), Holy Sound Crew (FR), Murjah Warriors (ITA), Dubios (GER), Mr Mefistou (PR) and Ktopp (GER).

Which is your favourite? You may prefer Mr Zebre’s warrior style vibration or the rootically inspired remix of Thriakis Dub Destroyer. Perhaps it’s the organic skunking melody of the Murjah Warriors, armed with a mandolin and a melodica ina “Renaissance” steppa style, that will carry you away inna cloud of irieness … or the heavy vibrations of Koncrete Roots and Injham. Perhaps the correct question should be “Which one is our favourite?” Well, all twelve versions are heavy enough to set Babylon on fire. So play them LOUD! It remains to you to discover the magic hidden behind each version!

After releasing two albums in 2012 and 2013, ‘Új zene’ is the most experimental Ars Caelum album including only fully improvised tunes. The eponymous album of this Serbian trio opens up a whole new sound universe for you. The containing songs on have no titles, just roman numbers, from I to IV, neither a melody that you can sing, nor are there loud masses of sound, whose color and shape are being changed throughout the tracks. They are mostly and meditative and slow-passing, which means that all you have to do is close your eyes and concentrate deeply on what you hear.

I'm a freelance/solo bassist currently studying for a music degree at music college in London. My musical influences include Brian Eno, Thomas Koner, William Basinski, Phillip Glass, Steve Reich, and Steve Lawson.

I intend my music to draw the listener in, and for the listener to become - for a brief moment in time - part of the music.

My music is mixed so that some tracks are sometimes barely audible, so listening through a good pair of headphones is highly recommended.

My compositional work generally falls within the genres of instrumental experimental, electroacoustic or ambient. It is created solely with the use of electric six string fretted and fretless basses, an eBow electronic bowing device, and a multitude of effects processors, including reverbs, delays, modulation, pitch shifting and distortion. I also add noise and ambient sounds to the recordings, these are usually altered with the use of further reverb, delay, modulation and bitcrusher effects to create otherworldly sonic backdrops to my music.

Although I can play both keyboards and piano, six string bass guitar is my regular instrument, and is the one that I play most proficiently, the instrument that I am able to be the most expressive on.

None of my music is composed with an idea in mind of how it should or would sound when finished. It starts and evolves, my music composition is a gradual and constantly developing process. I like the indeterminacy of this type of music, not knowing where it will take you, and what will happen next. I spend an extremely large amount of time in the subsequent arrangement, editing, mixing and production of the compositions. One of the advantages of digital recording is that the arrangements are free to evolve and constantly develop, I can build the track, adding new layers and colours, experimenting with different effects, sounds and textures until the piece is complete.

The crucial importance of this persuasion can be easily seen through an intelligent reading of the Gospel of Mark, chapter 4 verses 30-32: And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that are in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the Shadow of it.

“Tzelalot” has been founded by Matyas Tekle Selassie upon the solid Rock of the truly ethiopian, amharic speaking orthodox and RastafarI tradition. Its crew is mainly composed by Bro. Kalad, Bro. Yosief and Etan-e Negus, but many more good brethrens and sistrens coopereng with I&I, through I&I spirit of love and ovastanding. Inspiration comes from Livitycal Powers. Big respect Midnite Band for their crucial examples and inspiration.

The fifteen tracks of “Labyrinth” compile only a small image of the works of Tzelalot, putting the best vibes together and showcasing the bright spiritual aura that emerges out of every track. As extra bonus we included two brand new tracks of Tzelalot, “I” and “Ras Amlak”. The object is an active galaxy and a BL Lacertae object, and is a strong source of gamma rays. It is about 397 million light-years (redshift: z=0.0308 eq. 122Mpc) to 434 million light-years (133Mpc) from the Earth. It is one of the closest blazars to Earth, making it one of the brightest quasars in the night sky. It is suspected to have a supermassive black hole (SMBH) at its center due to its active nature, and has a companion galaxy (Markarian 421-5) that is fueling the gas jets observed pointing away from the galaxy.

It was first determined to be a very high energy gamma ray emitter in 1992 by M. Punch at the Whipple Observatory, and an extremely rapid outburst in very high energy gamma rays (15-minute rise-time) was measured in 1996 by J. Gaidos at Whipple Observatory

Markarian 421 also had an outburst in 2001 and is monitored by the Whole Earth Blazar Telescope project.

Die Elektrischen Vorspiele, a blog founded on January 15 2009, and whose sixth anniversary is commemorated with this release, was envisioned as a space for the nurturing of a “savage thought” (that is, of an undisciplined nature). In its essence, and as an individual project, it aims mostly to be a vehicle for its author’s vast-reaching interests, while at the same time harnessing them into some form of discipline. More than just a reflection on the fascination caused by the themes implicit to its lexical field of action, as shown by the coordinates and key concepts that define the boundaries of its territory, i.e. “Occultism” / “Esotericism”, this virtual space mainly maps some of the topologies enclosed in the History of Ideas. A vast and sometimes ignored area of Knowledge, whose apparently paradoxical character drives a magnetic pull towards the need to identify its true nature, as ubiquitously manifested along various historical cycles, in an unending drama staged in the theatre of the Anima Mundi. This is, in fact, the true raison d’être of Die Elektrischen Vorspiele.
As a direct result of its existence, November 2010 saw the publication of the book “Summa Techno(i)logicae”. This work, as implied by its title, is a thoroughly compiled and systematised patchwork reflecting the interests that guide its author’s research. From then on, periodic collaborations with other projects ensued, such as the magazines Finis Mundi, Infernus and Antibothis.
Still under the aegis of Die Elektrischen Vorspiele, and always through the establishment of complicities and connections, a number of events were created and carried out in the past six years. This set of actions (with Music as a constant common denominator) has had as its main goal the evocation of the life and work of various figures that have left behind crucial legacies. The people celebrated include the musician John Balance (Coil); the historian of religions Mircea Eliade; the poet and theatre director Antonin Artaud; the philosopher Georges Bataille; and the Japanese writer Yukio Mishima. It is also worth mentioning the series of events spanning along the year 2013, Occult Esoterica AV Gatherings, curated in collaboration with intermedia artist Ana Carvalho.
The proposal made to EdP – Editora do Porto (in the person of its administrator, João Ricardo) for the release of this compilation emerges as a consequence of shared common cosmologies which have gradually been transmuted into friendship, and also of João Ricardo’s encyclopaedic musical knowledge, while the invitations made to the artists taking part in it are the logical result of a chaining together of elective affinities (a process permanently taking place since the first Homeric dawn).

The people celebrated include the musician John Balance (Coil); the historian of religions Mircea Eliade; the poet and theatre director Antonin Artaud; the philosopher Georges Bataille; and the Japanese writer Yukio Mishima. It is also worth mentioning the series of events spanning along the year 2013, Occult Esoterica AV Gatherings, curated in collaboration with intermedia artist Ana Carvalho.
The proposal made to EdP – Editora do Porto (in the person of its administrator, João Ricardo) for the release of this compilation emerges as a consequence of shared common cosmologies which have gradually been transmuted into friendship, and also of João Ricardo’s encyclopaedic musical knowledge, while the invitations made to the artists taking part in it are the logical result of a chaining together of elective affinities (a process permanently taking place since the first Homeric dawn).

ASIC creates his music out of the moment. The tracks of the PENTAPRISM EP are rooted in live sessions, ASIC moves through soft, harsh or wild city scapes that are ever evolving, temptingly rough and delicate at the same time.

Coming from his year-long performing routine, ASIC has recorded two EPs that are being released via Hula Honeys and sub_perversion simultaneously. While the TAPA EP on subper.ch explores the deeper Poststep influences, the PENTAPRISM EP on Hula Honeys opens the musical spectrum towards Glitch-Hop, Techno and Bass.

Both releases are available as digital downloads. The releases are accompanied by PDF-Files that can be laser cutted on arbitrary material, similar to a vinyl record. The necessary script was developed and written by Amanda Ghassaei . <h5>released on Sucu Music by Gaetano Fontanazza</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/19669_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on Sucu Music by Gaetano Fontanazza</p>Gaetano Fontanazza’s latest release, ‘Sounds on Canvas’ is the live soundtrack to an exhibition of paintings by his father, the late Edoardo Fontanazza. As people admired the remarkable works of art hanging on the walls of a gallery in Enna, Gaetano supplied a live soundtrack to the event which was then recorded for this release. This is music that, although conceived as support to an event, stands on its own feet and is fantastic even after the event. Enjoy!



‘Masks’ is the opening track in the album. Guitar drones and soundscapes which remind of some moments in Brian Eno’s ‘On Land.’ Gaetano’s trademark textures create a sort of tridimensional sound which bears the listener on the air to faraway lands of the mind and soul.

The atmosphere in the second track of the lot, ‘Woods in Pink,’ is even more dilated and thin. Here we are floating in space, maybe cavorting along with asteroids and comets. A planet here, the rising sun there, Gaetano’s guitar carries us through a voyage we would love to last forever. No change of mood or abrupt swerving of any kind. If space had a sound, this is what it would sound like.

A darker mood permeates ‘A Painter.’ The concept that comes into mind on listening to this track is the concept of Sublime as the Romantics conceived of it, vastness, silence, darkness, hugeness that attracts and scares at the same time. We are on the edge of a plateau, the abyss opens below our feet, our gaze is attracted downwards and so are we, for we are convinced that if only we would take a leap now we could surely fly.

‘Nude’ begins with Frippesque soundscapes and long notes that roll and slide and soar up into the sky. The lead guitar paints notes on our aural canvas which create ever-changing shapes, in a kaleidoscope of colours that go from the orange of canyons to the blue of underground caves filled with gems. This is a mesmerizing guitar that lulls us as only the greatest feelings can. Additional touches of acoustic guitar make the palette of sounds all the richer and the more tasteful.

‘Fields of Light’ is a tell-tale title, in that it is precisely what the music of this track evokes. The gloaming, the last purple of the sun, and the first lights spangling fields as far as one’s eye can see. The ‘Evening Star’ is somewhere in the sky, not far away from these echoing notes that descend on the landscape below as a gentle mantle which will protect everything from the oncoming night.

‘Laying Corpse’ is a nocturnal track whose notes seem to have no end. The overall atmosphere is reminiscent of Michael Brook’s infinite guitar, with layer upon layer of notes and textures. A glider, or somebody freefalling before the parachute is opened. Or simply, the soul of the corpse soaring up to whatever afterlife is waiting for it.

Gaetano’s father was a great horse lover and rider. He would cross Sicily on his horses and young Gaetano would ride by his side. No wonder one of the tracks is dedicated to these noble animals. ‘Horses’ were also one of Edoardo’s favourite subjects for his paintings. this is the first track with anything sounding like rhythm in it. No proper percussion, but rhythmic glitches that gallop on the background depthless soundscapes and accompany the listener in this ride to infinity.

‘Imasking Again’ is the live version of Gaetano’s previously released track ‘Imasking.’ The mood in this track is completely different from what we have listened so far. First, the instrument used is an acoustic guitar, which is processed and treated with any sort of imaginable effects. The mood is quite experimental and not as relaxed. Some voices intrude for fractions of a second and even some attempts at laughing. Strings can be scraped as if with a saw while gentle chords are strummed in the background. And if some melodic notes make their way through all the rest, they only half reassure, because the remaining sounds warn us every surprise is lurking in the shade.

‘The Way Home’ closes the album with a sort of elegiac tone. We are again not far away from that sector in the sky where the ‘Evening Star’ appears. Repetition of patterns and notes, and a gentle mood that is not that far away from Robert Fripp and Brian Eno’s mid-seventies masterpiece, Gaetano’s guitar weaves melodies that now sound as recorder then as cuckoos singing from afield. The goal is near. the cottage is still a blur in the falling violet of the night, but the smoke billows out of the chimney pot and the yellow light from behind the windows warms heart and bones.

Our journey is over. We are home at last.

As an adult a person begins to
differentiate his sensations and to hang tags on them thereby he separates them from each other. He thinks, that breaks illusions, but one day he will feel guilty for what he did. And there's only one way to get rid of guilt."
