"Last night I saw a man in my sleep who brought me to a utopia of pyramids and sourceless rays of light and the gates read scrambled letters that presented themselves in a foreign manner beyond inherent human synthesis. And then liquid of gold reflecting blue began to drown me from above, building from the sky down. I was taken by hand from sunrises to sunsets, past horizon radars from orange to gray. And as the liquid began to recede, it strangled me from an everchanging origin, shaking and distorting and grasping strenuously, knuckles white, attributing omniscience to desperation. My view dissolved to a spectator's view of myself in bed, choking. And then I woke up in bed. Choking. The manifestation of psychedelia from the view of my Capitose Windowpane. Where everything they said had deeper meaning."Source photography for the front cover of this album goes to my friend Paige (With some extensive Photoshopping on my part), many many thanks to her for that... Back cover photography was created for NASA by Space Telescope Science Institute and for ESA by the Hubble European Space Agency Information Centre under Contract NAS5-26555. SuperD'Orch is a digital orchestra. It was set up in 2009 as a combination of two research project briefs: to form and perform as a digital orchestra, and to use the audio programming language SuperCollider to build a performance environment.
The project explores the various issues that come with setting up a digital orchestra, which include issues relating to composition, performance and technology.
After much discussion, the group settled on the concept of a 'meta instrument'. SuperD'Orch then built project specific software applications using SuperCollider and Max/MSP which work together in various ways across the groups five laptops. Our performances are typically comprised of several musical pieces, each exploring a different compositional approach based upon the idea of the 'meta instrument' and the various ways in which it can be set up.

Ann Deveria from Madrid (Spain) delivers a live recording. The set is divided in two parts and all the materials are new works from this spanish duo. The concert was played live at "Evenings" an experimental Music Venue in the Capital of Spain. The set was recorded the 22th of february 2009.
The first part is based on generating music digitally via laptop, while the second part is approached from an electric point of view, using guitars, pedals and microphones.

Audiotalaia is proud to present the work of portuguese artist Jorge Nunes. This is a really special release for us because many reasons. Principally because is the first time that Audiotalaia hosts a work done with non digital processing systems. Also WAVE / PULP is a two for the price of one album. It contains two tracks that are sisters in a really special way. Also it's the 20th release in Audiotalaia and we want to thank all the people who had made this possible.
Jorge Nunes bases it's work in live improvisation. He likes to manipulate instruments and non musical objects and synthetisers. And that is WAVE / PULP an experiment where different generes in music merge in two extensive compositions.

Last summer Audiotalaia was presenting the remixes done by Adrián Juárez for the argentinian duo The Cherry Blues Project. Now we are presenting Amílcar, a compilation of mixes and remixes done by The Cherry Blues Project where the work of both argentinian experimental sound projects meet together to demonstrate one more time the strenght of the South American experimental Music scene.
In this piece of work we can experience a journey through minimal spaces. The great sound design skills from Adrián Juárez meet the scence of spaciality exemplified on The Cherry Blues Project.
An interesting soundscape where the synth sound designs meets a certain and emergent folk music resistence growing up in sound experimentation.

“This record it’s a great journey into a Kraftwerk-like electro-world and beyond. You can see it in the music, but also in the names of compositions, cover design etc., all that epanage that makes listening to music more than just listening to music. You may feel an atmosphere of a naive, self-ironic belief in science and its importance in art. About the tunes:Aeronáutica I and II – ground control and airplane samples create real aero-atmosphere. Great tunes.PC Music – good, little drum’n’based piece but it sounds like an unfinished scetch of Kraftwerk’s ‘Computer world’ remix.Circulo Polar – my favourite. Fallen are brothers Andrew and Richard Fryer who come from the south of England. The group was formed in 1999 making spooky neurotic jungle. Over the course of nine releases they have gradually evolved into a more meditative proposition and are now purveyors of a sort of outsider dreampop. Fallen’s last recording, “A rare camouflage” is available on the cookanegg imprint. Andrew is also the man behind Boy swung tunnel whose album “The sun sparks” is on the Format noise label.Their EP “feathers” consists of 6 tracks with a complete duration of about 22 minutes, and it is definitely the catchiest release on Resting Bell up to this moment. The music of Fallen is hard to describe. Referring to their own words it is dreamy pop-music with a great sense for melodies and dramaturgy. You can also find these wall-of-sound-elements which make me think of shoegazer-bands from the nineties. Noises, crackles and loud parts. But behind all this there is always a melody shining through. There is always a leitmotif which guides you through the song. And there is always an element which you can’t get out of your mind.Enjoy this great release while warming your hands at the chimney and get your personal catchy tune right away.

This winter Mixgalaxy Records prepared for you this very special compilation full of mystery and fairy-tale spirit with snowy scent of cold winter nights spiced with catchy melodies and grand arrangements. Our “Winter Tales” will give you a magic atmosphere, filling any place they’re being played at with viscous drones of ambient, sombre idm beats and soft chillout with folk-pop touched by traditional Russian music making it suitable for nearly any situation whether it’s being a Christmas holiday party or just a steady evening spent alone. The compilation explores each possible human emotion associated with this chill season being supported on this side by some guest appearances featuring project Sinestesia which hardly requires any detailed introduction to Russian electronic music arena since they have performed on numerous EDM festivals and been around for quite a while now. Once again the artwork was produced by Gerdes who already became some sort of our staff artist since his simple pencil-drawn covers gradually help forming the face of the label. In addition, Gerdes also contributed his track Astel to “Winter Tales” and made his musical debut on our label. Few regularies appear alongside of new artists and new sounds, so let yourself be carried away by this rich and highly enjoyable music flow. Dive in!

Coming from Italy and with a promising career on the Netaudio scene, Ennio Mazzon presents in Audiotalaia his second solo release. After releasing a remix for Off Land at Resting Bell and his debut "The Scent of Morning Lights" (Timetheory Netlabel 2008), Mazzon delivers a collection of soundscapes, drones and subtle textures.
The sound of Mazzon it's refined and synthetic. The pace of time gets slowed down while listening Muffled. Different layers of stretched sounds are convined exquisitly all togheter forming a continuous and straight timeline that it's transforming in slow motion.

After the album released on summer 2008 at Resting Bell, Southern Recordings. Edu Comelles aka Mensa moved to Scotland where he is studying sound design. From the ashes of Southern Recordings arosed an extended mix of one of the track of this mini album.
The Clifts it's another turning point on the concrete approach of Mensa in issues like soundscapism and composition. The piece it's almost 17 minutes long and goes on like a changing soundscape that evolves in different shapes keeping a slow pace of progression.
The sound of Mensa project always has a reference to landscape. This time the influence gets bigger and what is seen throught the eyes becomes sound. In Nordic Recordings, Scandinavia was the reference, at Southern Recordings the dry mediterranean country was the main character. In the Clifts the massive grass extentions of the Scottish countryside become the center of attention.
