Cachonda and Cachonda (Foreplay), altogether with Diablo and Por debajo del Agua were done originally for the videohome Cumbia cachonda from director Christian González. Kukita is an original track from Manuel Neztic. Patria / Extranjero and Stravinsky appear in their original version in the album Volk. “Cachonda” means horny and/or sexy in Mexico.

“Here is another excellent album of Nortec electronica from Mexican sound artist Vate. I understand Vate is currently living in Barcelona. It may be my imagination but I could swear I’m hearing a little European and Spanish influences leaking into his electronic compositions. What is clear is that he still makes highly listenable state-of-the-art music.Cachonda is his newest release and the tracks, both originals and remixes, are more developed and reveals a highly individualized style. “Diablo” is an especially nice work, being very atmospheric and distinctive. “Extranjero (Sin patria)” is snappy and dancable. Most of these track falls firmly into Nortec but Stravinsky (Variaciones)” hints of that turn to European influences I mentioned. All in all, Vate has become one of my favorite independent artists in this particular genre.”Free albums Galore

Dave Tucker, director of the London Improvisers Orchestra, former member of the legendary punk band The Fall, veteran improviser in Europe, America and England where he has shared stage with some of the most important innovators of this music such as John Stevens, John Butcher or Evan Parker. Ricardo Tejero one of the few spaniards actively installed in the underground scene of London, board member of the Collective of Spanish improvisers Musicalibre and the FOCO Orchestra, member of the London Improvisers Orchestra which he has conducted, director on several occasions of the Dutch Royal Improvisers Orchestra and also present with several projects around Europe.Julian Bonequi, mexican drummer and vocalist based in Barcelona, increasingly recognized in the European improvising scene, an active member of the Collective of Spanish improvisers Musicalibre and the FOCO Orchestra, he has played as guest with the London Improvisers Orchestra since 2008. Their music comes from the search of nuances in the provocative mix of free jazz and punk together with the creation of energy around an active listening and silence. A meeting that is always trying to find space for creative freedom and a natural but also reflective display of musical concepts.

“This single (Diablo) is a thing to be recommended to everyone that likes electro music. Diablo very nicely mixes synth-sounds with technobeat. Diablo has unique samples (resembling crickets and other nature sounds) very neatly composed in the Marimba swing. This record is one of my favourite tracks from Volk, and, although the whole LP is a little bit boring (but just a bit , Diablo is definitely one of its highlights. I quite enjoyed listening to remixed versions of this piece. They are quite similar to the original, but it’s not just some beta-version that aren’t good enough to be presented as a complete tune, so one sells it as a remix. They are alternative sets as good as the variant chosen by the artist on the album. I regret that there isn’t any interesting B-side piece different from remixes and that’s why there is nine instead of ten. But well… you can’t have it all. The single deserves Jamendo fans’ interest anyway.”Galaktycznyzwiad

An electronic project from Latvia founded by macabro in 2006. As the time moved on the music has seen an evolution from harsher noisy sound to warm ambient atmospheres. Now he mainly experiments with drones and field recordings, along with using a huge variety of different sounds and self-made samples, such as bells, whistles, xylophones etc. The newer works might even be considered as guitar ambient, although guitar sound is fairly modified, sometimes to an unrecognizable degree.The new album represents warm guitar sounding mixed with analogue-like drones and deep atmospheres. The album's concept is an emotional journey into the very depth of the bluest sea. But no! this journey will not be tragic or funeral-like, it is rather a thoughtful and melancholic soundtrack.. just looking at the ever-shining sun with opened eyes of a drowned man.

RuiD was born in 1985 in Ulyanovsk town, Russia. Started with music at the age of 10. Liked Pumping House, House, Trance. In 2003 He was opened his own radioshow "Rodeo" on some radiostation. In 2005 became a president of some night club called Arbat. After one year he stopped DJing and said "to be famous DJ you need to play mainstream - I can't do that", since 2006 he continuously works on his own creativity and said that "I don't work in a particular style, I am experimenting over and over", as a result of his work there became a release on Pozitron Records called "Kanzas", on 2009 there was another release on Prakteek Sound, called "City EP". He plans to release the album on CD.

Stall is the first collaboration of Luís Antero and Marcus Kuerten and consists of two twelve-minute tracks recorded on location in the Coimbra region in Portugal and the German Rhineland. The pieces present the unadulterated sounds of agronomical livestock production places.The changes in sound of the Stall recording by Antero are more punctuated and less textured. It captures, based on species noises, the group dynamics of sheep and forms a contrast to the atmosphere recording of the cow stable. Kuerten’s Stall is dominated by the eerie sounds of a claustrophobic setting with ambient noises mainly, but it is also an extensive audible pleasure to listen to the astonishing amount of information.The final track is an additional remix by the Chinese musician and producer Zhang JW from Beijing. His complex structured piece of music draws a line under a highly recommended work. Enjoy yourself and listen attentive.

A picture of young mother Librowski playing the accordion led Digital_Me (Shay Librowski; musician and offspring) to a successful treasure hunt in his parents' attic. The collective association of the accordion as an old-time instrument and the aversion from bellows and squeezeboxes inherent to the electronic musician were quickly replaced by curiosity and inquisitiveness.
