Grande Oceaan is a solo project inspired by oceans. Each record is dedicated to a particular story. The music is only made with analog gear: modular synthesis, sequencer, etc., and effects, creating a mood or atmosphere through synthesizers, timbral qualities and repetitive patterns.

The Swans is a radio documentary devoted to covering a particular topic in some depth. Animals in the wild can display very different vocalizations from those in captivity. Majins have existed since time immemorial, cycling between rampages and long hibernation, and were summoned once again 5 million years before Age by the evil swans.

For his second release on CerebralAudio, Cousin Silas has brought us an expansive, gentler and substantially darker work than the previous Observations From Earth And Beyond. And yet, while darker, it's also a more soothing work overall, providing the listener the space to wander amongst the stars. Cousin Silas has been a very busy artist this year, having released thirteen albums in 2016 alone. I'm happy to say this is number fourteen, and hopefully we won't be seeing an end to the Cousin Silas releases anytime soon.

This abstract electronic release comes out from the mental volcano of the young italian producer Edoardo Costa, who puts in the “Whynolf” project his crazy sonic soliloquies. The album traces an ideal line between his noise and distortion era and a “more musical” approach. Don't you have any expectation of melodies or anything of what you're used to calling “song” here, you will rather be hit by a mass of sounds and frequencies punched, pinched, stretched, morphed like clay in the hands of a schizoid sculptor. It's pure electronic experimentation pushed to the limits.

What's better than starting with a “Trip to the mental plane”? You will be launched directly into a B-movie cinema, forced to watch fast images of an insect trapped in a sealed empty bottle. You will arrive at the end of the track not knowing if who's unable to escape is the bug or yourself.

Infinite concrete, spiring up to a purple running sky. And you try to climb and you feel you're falling. That's how “A soundscrape” sounds like.

“Morphing abstract percussions” is a huge kick in the teeth, starting with an illusionary normal fast drum pattern for the first few seconds. But soon you will be run over by the heavy sound manipulation which will abduct and drag you in an increasingly scary whirlpool. The wall of sound will arrive to a climax that will be almost impossible to deal with, leaving you disoriented like in your worst hangover after your worst booze. Watch out for your ears here!

“Hydro”. Is there water spilling in your mental cave? The suspended mood of this sketch will obviously leave you without any comprehensive answer.

“Stop him before it's too late” is a three minute long track splitted into two segments. Almost a post-futuristic suite that first will introduce you to a metal labyrith where you can hear a low kick as if your steps were moving fat and slowly, accompained by a fuzzing synth texture, and then you will be pushed to a spasmodic rush where sound and rhythm mash up as if a broken radio had lost its tuning.

Will you be able to breathe in a room full of “The finest dust” creeping inexorably into your lungs? Try find out in this short track.

“Il lamento degli angeli” (angels' lament) shows a mutating sound texture that seems to tell us how angels felt like just before their falling.

The journey has been fast and intense in this 28 minutes long release. And the last track, “Glass splinters in slow motion”, tell us goodbye as exploding glass that has been stressed too much. Now we can only stare at this half speed scene secretly hoping to have other extreme experiences like this.

Clouds Formations is a concept release coming from the brazilian brilliant musician and guitarist Marcel Rocha. The artist, with his fine guitar mastery, explores that enchanted part of the sky where clouds form, giving body to our visions and emotions. It is a rich sonic journey through the amazing world of “haze and vapours” that flows onward, everchanging like clouds drawing in the sky on and on and on... From sparse melodies to harmonic atmospheres, from spontaneous phrases to complex notes mazes, Marcel leads us by the hand into his personal multiform land.

The album kicks off with a serene arping theme accompained by random percussive gliches and mallet phrases. It's an airy intro where Rocha introduces us the fresh renewed morning haze of Clouds forming in the morning.

With “Clouds forming on the mountains” we gain altitude, and the sparse guitar notes becomes like crystal clusters slowly weaving in the thin air.

One of the fine feature of the Artist is the deep exploring of new harmonic paths and progressions. It's what happens in this track. Again the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. And the guitar gently lulls us among the sweet “Clouds of hope”.

“Clouds of emotion” sounds almost like a dance jig pulled out from the traditional repertoire of a forgotten civilization in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Listening to the complex harmonic cylces, you feel a sort of an unknown heritage, difficult to comprehend sometime, but so familiar.

Looking at the sky it can happen to anyone to find clouds of never seen shapes and colours. “Crimson clouds” seems to tell us how it feels to be before a landscape where the setting sun paints its masterpiece on a multi colour clouds formation.

“Deep connection” deploys a meander of a stream of consciousess eight minutes long. Notes draw on the walls ink shapes of a lifetime, where people, things, places flow in a continous way, as if an elusive painter was acting restless, without raising his hand, as if pointing us the deep connection of what is flowing in our eyes.

“Flying above the clouds”, pushes us into the stratosphere, a slow phrase of sliding notes, as to trace arches in the sky, let us cast our stare at an infinite fluffy landscape. Everything looses its importance, only the self and his comprehension counts.

“Grey clouds” brings us back to earth below that white carpet we admired before, down to a land where the sun doesn't shine since too long. We find a wiseman sitting on the step of his house door in a grey afternoon singing his melancholic chant.

“Infinite trust” sets us into a meditavie mood. The sonic plateaux of this nine minute track is made of dilated phrases, sudden acceleration, crescendos and soothing slowing downs.

“Instant cloud” is an awesome example of the evocative strenght of the improvisational style of Marcel Rocha. Particualrly in this track we can admire the beauty of an intense exotic brazilian ballad, masterly performed with his electric guitar.

The album closes with “Storm clouds”. Who says a story has to finish with a happy ending? Who says a dark panorama produces only bad emotions? The forces of nature that go far beyond our ability to understand, here are contemplated with the eyes of a neutral observer who takes what it comes and witnesses its beauty.

Kaiut is the third full-length Thuuooom album, representing the more ambient side of Tuomo. These songs were created in January and February 2014 but many of the samples date to 2013. This album is the first time Tuomo started a session with the intention to create an ambient album. Consequently, the album features longer tracks than usual for Tuomo, the combined length of these 6 tracks clocking over one hour.

The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe within it, and the relationships among these universes depend upon the specific multiverse hypothesis being considered.

Multiple universes have been hypothesized in cosmology, physics, astronomy, religion, philosophy, transpersonal psychology, and fiction, particularly in science fiction and fantasy. In these contexts, parallel universes are also called "alternate universes", "quantum universes", "interpenetrating dimensions", "parallel dimensions", "parallel worlds", "alternate realities", "alternate timelines", and "dimensional planes".

The physics community continues to debate the multiverse hypothesis. Prominent physicists disagree about whether the multiverse exists.

Some physicists say the multiverse is not a legitimate topic of scientific inquiry. Concerns have been raised about whether attempts to exempt the multiverse from experimental verification could erode public confidence in science and ultimately damage the study of fundamental physics. Some have argued that the multiverse is a philosophical rather than a scientific hypothesis because it cannot be falsified. The ability to disprove a theory by means of scientific experiment has always been part of the accepted scientific method. Paul Steinhardt has famously argued that no experiment can rule out a theory if the theory provides for all possible outcomes.

In 2007, Nobel laureate Steven Weinberg suggested that if the multiverse existed, "the hope of finding a rational explanation for the precise values of quark masses and other constants of the standard model that we observe in our Big Bang is doomed, for their values would be an accident of the particular part of the multiverse in which we live."

The original version of LEGAL has been released back in 2012 in Mexico by Mr Zebre and Rebel-I, receiving some mad feedback everywhere it was played, especially in Latin America. In the frame of the world wide ganja legalisation movement and the new approach that many countries adopt, we decided to re-release the tune for free download, raising awareness ….. but of course we added that extra Dubophonic touch.

This is not the first time that Dubophonic released a remix album, but this is the first time that it was done in such an interactive way. This release is a result of a competition, which has been running for the last two months. Every artist had the opportunity to submit their own version of the song (remix, dub, rework). We received around 40 submissions and we would like to thank everybody for their contribution. Unfortunately we could not put all mixes on the release ... but you know that dub music has nothing to do with competition. It has to do with the message we spread and with the vibes, and that big feedback proved that dub music has no borders. It is an international movement, growing stronger day by day. Big up to each and every one for the great vibes and also for the hard times you gave us, till we came to the final decision. Every version we received was unique!

The final selection was done by the Dubophonic crew, Mr Zebre, Rebel-I and a team of djs and selectors from various radio stations, who all casted their votes and compiled the list of the 13 tracks who made the final cut: Heavyweight names like Professor Skank (GR) and Al Breadwinner (UK), Dubophonic residents Mexican Stepper (MEX), Med Dred (CY) and Negritage (ARG), but also fresh rising artists like Zentash Gigawatt (BIH), Djiman (FR), Atlas Dub (FR), Sub Majesty (SUI), Injectah (RO), Dub Riots (GR), SKG’s Dub Alliance (GR), R3di the Dub Hermit (UK/CY), Colonial FX (IRL) and Dj Rastacore (ARG). Let the dub games begin!

Intuitive improvisation group Knyaz Mishkin has existed since 1991, headed by Leonid Narushevich.
In the team in different times took part dozens of people, including Yury Paulouski and Ivan Kirchuk (Ethno-trio Troitsa), one of the best bassists in Belarus Valerij Bashkov, percussionist Alexander Sofiks, keyboardist Yuri Vasilyev, Eugene Poleychuk (Professor Morriarti) and many others. The band depending on the situation may take the form of the duo to sextet.

This records were made in 2016 in the Racov city folk center and Minsk based Museum of Zair Azgur.

"Dialogue Alone" is the second Manb offering at Sucumusic.

The so called “art-quantum” concept manifested in his previous music, here continues its course in a series of tracks where improvisation is still the major Ermanno's approach. Textures of sounds and synths are less broken, here. The time quantum is scanned by the minimal rhythm interventions and variations. This release, like all Manb's music, has a natural vocation to cinematic purposes. You can easily imagine still poses that slowly mutate from A to B in a non linear, imperceptible and unpredictable path. Quoting David Byrne, at the end of the journey, “you may find yourself” asking “where did I get there?”

Overtake opens the tracklist. A sustained arpeggio enters on tiptoe announcing its sonic companions while a broken beat evolves its story as minutes passes by. The sensation is like traveling toward an untold destination, on a segmented roadway or railway in a November morning cold bright air.

Vast spaces and landscapes caught in that intense twilight moment are so dear to the Artist. Actually in Substratum we could find ourselves slowly casting our stare over roofs bathed in the thick air of a late April sunset, while a continuous synth-pad and a pulsing kick tone turn away our day worries. A Tangerine Dreamish arpeggio makes us notice some kind of antennas' grid, framing the vision.

A hypnotic bassline together with minimal rhythm mutations is what characterise Abutment. A kind of retro-future dance tune where urban shapes quickly appear from multiple vanishing points, coming up against your eyes to accelerate your perceptions and reactions.

Countenance. An unidentified metal plate hit by enormous flying insects in the dark opens the scene to this post trip-hop track. And while your heartbeat is asymmetrically shifted by a broken beat kick, the anguish increases when obsessive basslines and pads powerfully find their way to your brain cells. The track fades with a buzzing note as those insects move away, leaving you alone, with your broken heartbeat and all your unanswered questions.

In Hum you slowly open your eyes, not sure of what thoughts you were following. A reversed crowd noise strangely makes you feel at home. Celesta chords, reversed vibraphone notes and a peaceful synth-bass sequence slowly chase each other like soothing ingredients in a stirring cocktail, bouncing in a chemical carousel. At the end, when the mix is done, watchful eyes upon an empty glass and your heartbeat restored are all that remain, echoing in the near valley below.

My name is J.J. I’m the guitarist in Belarussian bands Stardust Circus and The Glitchhh. This is my first solo work. The whole material was recorded exclusively with my guitar and a few FX pedals. The main concept is to reproduce guitar sounds in my head in real time. This is my own approach to the instrument and its sound. The music lacks guitar riffs and solos; it is filled with shrouding sound landscapes which are to immerse a listener in special atmosphere.

All tracks are played in real time and can just be played at my live gigs.

These works were produced using samples that Mystified has released for other sound artists use. While working on the original three pieces for that work, SoundChaser decided to experiment a bit more with the sequences and trying combining them in different ways to bring out parts of work. The result is a work that is nearly two hours long, spanning two CDs.
