Aesthetic considerations:
After much time listening to jazz, jazz-rock, rock, beethoven, contemporary music, etc. I was tired. I no longer listen to music. But one day came to my ears Morton Feldman, Messiaen and Cage and I revived.
I need to get back to the minimum as an exercise to avoid the existential void.
Technical considerations:
I like to divide the computer sound to the classic way. Purely electronic sounds created with Puredata (this is the case) and acousmatic sounds (with samples) with Supercollider.
A simple Python script creates a semi-deterministic score (qlist) for 4 simple puredata generators.

Lexithimie is a sound solo project founded by Alexis Béchu with focus on healing sound, extended classic, modern ambient and with care for minimal details and natural color. After a bunch of releases on various audio labels such as ropes swing cities, October Man, Hibernate recs and Under The Spire lexithimie’s music creates synthetic spaces from processed instruments, field recordings, layers of repetitive tones and sound infusion.
His two-track EP "Leontopodium" is a beautiful example for this. 24 minutes full of decent soundwalls, layers full of sublime melodies, slightly shifting and processing. The strongest motif in "Leontopodium" is in my ears the aspect of nature. Both tracks have a very organic, warm and natural feeling. They are also perfect examples for building ambient music with minimal structure and melodies, and changing both elements over a long distance of time in a very subtle and gentle way.
So you get the perfect soundtrack for drifting away, coming back and drifting away again. I recommend to listen to this with headphones which let you even more explore the depth and space of Alexis's work.

The netlabel auflegware starts in 2010 with the projects Ryko and Patryk Molinari from Berlin.Enrico M. joins auflegware in 2008 as "Ryko" and released some good Tech-House tunes. He worked on groovy housetunes under the synonym Patryk Molinari. Now he try to mix this two projekts and he asks himself "Who am I". In that way he presents three fluffy tracks, like candyfloss into sun, to stir our blood. The support comes from Mathis J. with a remix of "Keepin me".

One afternoon Ergo Phizmiz finds himself lumbered into delivering a parcel to the house of legendary alchemist and necromancer Dr Johann Faustus who, since the events of some time ago for which he is renowned, has entered into a rather quieter life in a vast, labyrinthine house, with hundreds of lodgers running the gamut from artists, birds, bird-people, walking fictions, ventriloquists, a Cassowary, running chairs, walking gramophones, and myriad automata.

This enormous dream fable, told through speech, songs, collage and sound-design, is the result of over three years delving down various rabbit-holes, and features collaborations in a range of contexts with artists of many disciplines, including Jack Phoenix, Margita Zalite, Pete Um, Angela Valid, Bela Emerson, Martha Moopette, Amie Willingale, and Zenith Pitts.

In glorious radiophonic technicolour, it is a musical-comedy of disorientation and magick, somewhere between nightmare and the half-remembered childhood whimsy of an insomniac music-hall artiste.

Please note – “The Faust Cycle” is not, necessarily, suitable for sensitive ears at times, containing, as it does, some naughty words, some sexy references, and a healthy smattering of scatological excess.

Cachonda and Cachonda (Foreplay), altogether with Diablo and Por debajo del Agua were done originally for the videohome Cumbia cachonda from director Christian González. Kukita is an original track from Manuel Neztic. Patria / Extranjero and Stravinsky appear in their original version in the album Volk. “Cachonda” means horny and/or sexy in Mexico.

“Here is another excellent album of Nortec electronica from Mexican sound artist Vate. I understand Vate is currently living in Barcelona. It may be my imagination but I could swear I’m hearing a little European and Spanish influences leaking into his electronic compositions. What is clear is that he still makes highly listenable state-of-the-art music.Cachonda is his newest release and the tracks, both originals and remixes, are more developed and reveals a highly individualized style. “Diablo” is an especially nice work, being very atmospheric and distinctive. “Extranjero (Sin patria)” is snappy and dancable. Most of these track falls firmly into Nortec but Stravinsky (Variaciones)” hints of that turn to European influences I mentioned. All in all, Vate has become one of my favorite independent artists in this particular genre.”Free albums Galore

Dave Tucker, director of the London Improvisers Orchestra, former member of the legendary punk band The Fall, veteran improviser in Europe, America and England where he has shared stage with some of the most important innovators of this music such as John Stevens, John Butcher or Evan Parker. Ricardo Tejero one of the few spaniards actively installed in the underground scene of London, board member of the Collective of Spanish improvisers Musicalibre and the FOCO Orchestra, member of the London Improvisers Orchestra which he has conducted, director on several occasions of the Dutch Royal Improvisers Orchestra and also present with several projects around Europe.Julian Bonequi, mexican drummer and vocalist based in Barcelona, increasingly recognized in the European improvising scene, an active member of the Collective of Spanish improvisers Musicalibre and the FOCO Orchestra, he has played as guest with the London Improvisers Orchestra since 2008. Their music comes from the search of nuances in the provocative mix of free jazz and punk together with the creation of energy around an active listening and silence. A meeting that is always trying to find space for creative freedom and a natural but also reflective display of musical concepts.
