With Your Outfit_. While the title is amusing, there is something of a
statement that can go along with it.
There is a feeling that classical music belongs in certain environments,
primarily a concert or performance hall (and sometimes in churches).
This has been seen by many as being somewhat elitist. Or at least,
having the implication of their being a class system involved in the
production and performance of classical music.
It's not at all unlikely to attend performances of classical music where
the majority (if not all) of the audience members are wearing suits or
tuxedos (for the men), or fancy dresses (for the ladies). The
performance has a set of unwritten guidelines for how the audience
interacts with the performers, as much as how they interact with each
other. There is also a formality in terms of how the performers present
the pieces, how the program is selected, etc.
Daniel has chosen to point rather humorously to the idea that really
this music isn't intended for the stuffy environments of the perfomance
hall. It's for everyone, no matter what clothes they are wearing. Even
if they are making choices to appear as unique and individual as they
can.
Classical music was never really intended to be the domain of the
elitist. It was music for the people. Mozart proved this with his
popular opera's written for the general public instead of being written
for kings or royalty.
On another level, Daniel's selection of this title could be seen as a
commentary on the musical establishment. The question isn't wether this
is classical music, but rather a statment that "this" work doesn't fit
with an "establishment" conception of style.
There's also a third layer of meaning to this title. Something of an
internal joke. There are points at which you might be listening to
this work and thinking, "how does that fit in?" That's when you will
discover the playful side of Daniel, occasionally hiding little pieces
of incongruous material as a joke for your ears. These tiny
non-sequitur's could be seen as not going with the "outfit" of the
composition as a whole.
But wether he had all of these ideas in mind, or none of them when he
titled this work is something that we'll never know. However, it's
interesting to consider them in all of these perspectives, individually
and simultaneously.

Basic Elements has produced a set of pieces that are like listening to a great blues singer, in a modern setting. There aren't any blues vocals or samples used in this release, but it is the mark of a great artist that can transform modern sounds, and carry the essence and spirit of past works into a modern setting.
Happy Singles focuses on relationships, and the pain and hurt they can bring out in people. Those are essentially blues themes. But in the hands of Basic Elements, these come out more as an R&B style, with a modern groove. The title is somewhat ironic, but a true statement about people that are more happy when they are single.
The title "Happy Singles" is also a double-entendre: all of the tracks on this release could be singles. They could be released as single tracks, but they take on a new level of poignancy when listened to as a whole. This is another mark of the magic that Basic Elements brings to this style of music, and something that CerebralAudio is proud to release.
NOTE: Once again we are offering 24bit, 48Khz FLAC encoding of this release! The difference between the standard 16bit encoding, and the 24bit encoding is quite astonishing. If you are the type of person that likes to hear even more of the inner details of a work, then I highly recommend the 24bit encoding.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/electronica">ELECTRONICA</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/downtempo">DOWNTEMPO</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-sa</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20193">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20193</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20193">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20193</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Happy+Singles/20193">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Happy+Singles/20193</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834</a></p>Slow Timehttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Slow+Time/20192Tue, 22 Nov 2016 23:24:33 +0100<h5>released on Breathe by Lingua Lustra</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20192_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on Breathe by Lingua Lustra</p>"Slow Time" grew out of some slow arpeggiating tracks, of which one remained, i looked at some unreleased tracks, tracks that i couldn't place yet and all came together in a picture as one.

This release is uses ebow loops, with pads and guitar to create hypnotic, slowly evolving soundscapes that will fit
your mood. This work is as abstract as several other recent CerebralAudio releases, including Cousin Silas's The Sky Road. It's a calm and serene set of pieces that have an implied rhythm without forcing any real percussive elements on the listener.
Whether it's music that you need for meditation, or something to help focus on a task that you need to accomplish, this is the work for you. Indulge yourself in 80 minutes of constantly evolving and transforming
soundscapes of Cousin Silas.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/ambient">AMBIENT</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/guitar">GUITAR</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/electronic">ELECTRONIC</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/minimal">MINIMAL</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/abstract">ABSTRACT</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-sa</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20189">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20189</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20189">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20189</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Trasnformations/20189">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Trasnformations/20189</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834</a></p>Wally Valleehttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Wally+Vallee/20188Wed, 16 Nov 2016 11:13:29 +0100<h5>released on Wondermachine by demas</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20188_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on Wondermachine by demas</p>Demas (Thomas Bäz, Berlin) contributes generously and continuously to the electronic music scene since many years. He is the man behind Klangscheiben and a myriad of projects. Master of microsampling and extroverted composer, he has a clearly recognisable imprint, achieved by meticulous research and a developed instinct for abstract forms.
Wally Vallee, inspired by a trip thru Europe, in this occasion; he did field recordings in the Valais canton. Once back home, he started the composition process, and recorded the EP.
The project is also European: mod303 is the musical brainchild of two Parisian producers (and real-life brothers) Jeremy and Nicolas Carrasco, the laboratory of Ramacod ( Ramon Macià) is based in Spain, mastering was done by Tobias Lorsbach in Germany, artwork by Jonathan Mangelinckx in Bruxelles and Wondermachine is based in Zurich.

Iterations. The idea behind much of this work is based on the repetition
of phrases while subtly changing them over time. It's the basis of what
became known as minimalism in the hands of composers like Steve Reich
and Philip Glass.
But, with the iterative nature of these works is apparent, Daniel
couldn't leave could just write a set of derivative works that mimicked
contemporary composers. Instead he reaches back into the world of
serialism for a couple of these compositions. The density and
complexity of these works belies their roots in the concept of
minimalism.
It's the sharp contrast between modern composition styles that makes
this work interesting. Daniel has found a way to move between what many
would consider to be ambient music and the most challenging classical
music without finding any lines. He is an explorer of all ages of
music.

back catalog. Ambelion approached us about re-releasing these works in
the hope that we would be able to gather more attention to his work, and
improve on the packaging and mastering of his work: in essence bringing
new life to his relatively unknown and neglected work.
Having being familiar with Waiting For Quarters, there was immediate
interest in listening to the works that Ambelion had previously
released. He sent us two releases: Quasi-Stationary and Past Future.
It didn't take much for us to agree that these works needed to be heard,
and Ambelion needs to be appreciated by a more receptive audience.
So, Past Future is the second of these releases. In the future we are
working on several more releases from his back catalog, including the
potential release of some previously un-released tracks.

The project was floating around the air for some years until the first works came out in 2015 through a self-release called "JaH-Fi".
Federico Balza (flute/sax) is a graduated musician from the Universidad Nacionalde de Cuyo with studies on classical flute and member of the Orquesta Sinfonica Juvenil (1st flute) in Argentina. As saxophonist (tenor/alt), flutist and keyboard player he collaborated with many reggae, dub and hip-hop bands like Zona Ganjah, Downbeat and Negritage touring around the underground scene of Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil).
Eter Dub offers a new fresh breeze in dub music. His sound cannot be framed into one genre. It is definitely dub, but with references not only to his classical musical studies but also into jazz, which is his second nature.
Each composition offers originality and an alternative approach to dub music. From the “linguistical” approach on Hand Of Jah, to the slow and wild “Ras-Sax”, from the funk-jazzy “Jah Trax 5” to the adventurous “Jah Jah Love”, all seven tracks of the EP build a new concept of dub music. Be prepared for something different!<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/dub">DUB</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/fusion">FUSION</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/reggae">REGGAE</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-nd</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20171">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20171</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20171">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20171</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/In+Da+Name+of+Jah/20171">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/In+Da+Name+of+Jah/20171</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/Dub-o-phonic/1742">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/Dub-o-phonic/1742</a></p>Uncultivated Uplandhttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Uncultivated+Upland/20170Thu, 20 Oct 2016 04:49:30 +0200<h5>released on CerebralAudio by Daniel Robert Lahey</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20170_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on CerebralAudio by Daniel Robert Lahey</p>Daniel Robert Lahey makes his debut on CerebralAudio with Uncultivated Upland. Daniel started fiddling with the keys of a piano as soon as he could reach them and whenever he could get away with it. He took guitar lessons at 10 and got very serious about it by the age of 15. (Of course, he figured it would help him pick up girls.) He devoted 12 years to the classical guitar repertoire before he'd had enough of so much work for no pay.
Toward the end of his time as a guitarist, he started playing around with Synthesizers. He has been playing keyboards for over 50 years at this point. He grew up with a love for classical music, and has studied many of the great composition masters through the years. This knowledge of classical music is what informs his current works.
On Uncultivated Upland Daniel presents six new works that reflect his perspective on life today. Some of these compositions are a reflection of life in our world today, sometimes from
a slightly off-center perspective (like on "The Zookeeper Escapes" or "Baked"), while other times appealing on a purely emotional basis (like "Uncultivated Upland" or "Tears").
Give these compositions a close listening. There is a lot to experience and a lot to savor in these well crafted, exquisitely produced recordings.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/electronic">ELECTRONIC</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/classical">CLASSICAL</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/contemporary">CONTEMPORARY</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-sa</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20170">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20170</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20170">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20170</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Uncultivated+Upland/20170">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Uncultivated+Upland/20170</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834</a></p>Somnium Hypnotichttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Somnium+Hypnotic/20169Wed, 19 Oct 2016 21:16:24 +0200<h5>released on Breathe by Ivan Black</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20169_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on Breathe by Ivan Black</p>Ivan Black has reinvented himself with this new full-length album, in Somnium Hypnotic displays his well known style of high level ambient perfectly fusioned with an oriental touch. "Hidden In Folders" is a 4 track EP with unreleased material from Lee's vault, spiced up, mixed, mastered and delivered fresh.
The release sets off with Another Cosmos, a spaced out deep disco track filled with 80s inspired drums, a hypnotic bassline & warm filtered vocals. Loop-based Deep Freeze combines a chilling sense of deepness with the playfulness of its vocal cuts and string sweeps, a track that can be served on every warmup set. The third track Init 49 is a weird blend of minimal techno and dub. With a name taken from an empty Korg Electribe SX pattern, this track makes good use of the analog drums & sounds from it. TOKENO delivers his own signature minimalistic interpretation, with glitchy loops and matching wicked vocals on the background.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/techno">TECHNO</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/house">HOUSE</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/deep%20house">DEEP HOUSE</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-nd</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20166">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20166</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20166">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20166</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Hidden+in+Folders/20166">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Hidden+in+Folders/20166</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/this_side_music/732">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/this_side_music/732</a></p>Chaplin Timehttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Chaplin+Time/20164Fri, 14 Oct 2016 14:53:31 +0200<h5>released on HAZE by Weska Project, Eugen Rogozin, Grind Out</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20164_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on HAZE by Weska Project, Eugen Rogozin, Grind Out</p>The work was created based on a sound interpretation of the Charlie Chaplin film «The Adventurer» (1917).

A group of cyborgs have risen from the digital wasteland, taken power and enslaved humanity. 'Creole, Aeon', a synthwave band from the future is sending secret warning messages back in time to the year 1982 through cassingle music releases, BETA Video Cassettes and commodore video games.
A retro text adventure game has been released alongside this EP of warped VHS, synthwave. Play the game for free at:

I was taken by his ability to mix Ambient, IDM, Berlin School and a host of other electronic music styles. Now with Quasi-Stationary Ambelion has brought his distinctive approach to electronic music to CerebralAudio.
This release sees Ambelion's more IDM approach to electronic music: lots of beats and breaks, with hints of swirling ambiance at times, and other times more mechanical counterpoint. This is really a return to the style of the 90's, but with a modern touch that only Ambelion could envisage.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/idm">IDM</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/ambient">AMBIENT</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/electronic">ELECTRONIC</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/berlin-school">BERLIN-SCHOOL</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/gltich">GLTICH</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-sa</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20162">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20162</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20162">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20162</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Quasi-Stationary/20162">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Quasi-Stationary/20162</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834</a></p>The Gloss On Bloodhttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Gloss+On+Blood/20160Sun, 09 Oct 2016 15:11:06 +0200<h5>released on HAZE by Protecious</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20160_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on HAZE by Protecious</p>The art of Protecious defies categorization - It stands on the verge of popular culture and contemporary experience, both acknowledging them and laughing at them. It deciphers evil, controversies, horror stories, science fiction, serial killers, organized religions and cults, twisting the ideas and observations into a regurgitated pile of a rainbow pot of gold. Whether it be music, storytelling or custom figures, Protecious' art and music is the result of painful reinvention and recreation through trial and error and introspection and collaboration, taking many forms and shapes before being presented to the world. And as a result we get the kind of art worthy of major labels and publishing houses/companies. Take a plunge and discover many pieces of art you wished you have done yourself.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/expiremental">EXPIREMENTAL</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-sa</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20160">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20160</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20160">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20160</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Gloss+On+Blood/20160">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Gloss+On+Blood/20160</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/HAZE/1308">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/HAZE/1308</a></p>Vesselhttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Vessel/20159Sun, 09 Oct 2016 11:49:28 +0200<h5>released on kreislauf by Record Of Tides</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20159_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on kreislauf by Record Of Tides</p>Record Of Tides - Vessel

That re-connection is apropos for an album that is about finding The Way Home. Tim's approach to the concept of "home" is about more than just the lodging that one might have. It's about the emotional home, the strength of beliefs, and the patience it takes to find one's true home.
Having the forbearance to work on a release for five years is tantamount to the journey that it can take a person to find their home. Tim has created a release that is the most personal expression of this journey.
We welcome Tim to CerebralAudio with this release, and hope you will enjoy it as much as we have in working on bringing this release to you. It's truly an honor for us to be entrusted with a release that has taken Tim many years to bring to its most perfect form.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/ambient">AMBIENT</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/guitar">GUITAR</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/electronic">ELECTRONIC</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/melodic">MELODIC</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/synthesizer">SYNTHESIZER</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/prog">PROG</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nc-sa</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20158">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20158</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20158">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20158</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Way+Home/20158">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Way+Home/20158</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/CerebralAudio/1834</a></p>The Big Numbershttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Big+Numbers/20157Wed, 05 Oct 2016 17:25:56 +0200<h5>released on Soisloscerdos by Trillion Catz</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20157_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on Soisloscerdos by Trillion Catz</p><p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/electronic">ELECTRONIC</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/%20downtempo"> DOWNTEMPO</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/%20darkwave"> DARKWAVE</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0">Creative Commons | by</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20157">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20157</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20157">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20157</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Big+Numbers/20157">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/The+Big+Numbers/20157</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/Soisloscerdos/1686">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/Soisloscerdos/1686</a></p>Furthermorehttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Furthermore/20155Wed, 21 Sep 2016 16:05:11 +0200<h5>released on Sucu Music by Lefterna</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20155_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on Sucu Music by Lefterna</p>Furthermore is a medium lenght concept EP in which Lefterna offers a range of static, slowly changing moods through five ambient/drones and noise sketches. Quoting a famous phrase by Brian Eno about ambient music, Lefterna's five tracks simply happen. They don't develop. You won't find an intro, a fade in, a theme, an outro. Everything the artist wants to tell us unfold in its entirety to our ears as soon as you press play. We wanted to see what happened providing you a 6th bonus track where all the playlist is played and mixed continously. This alternative listening approach will lead you to an interesting journey in which you will experience how five static soundscapes mutate into one another, landing in a final destination you won't expect how far from the starting point is.

Their music is based on a solid dub foundation: heavy basslines with conscious lyrics and deeply rooted dub & reggae with an interesting twist, integrating many influences such as electro, ethnic music, drum/n/bass and even indie or punk. Their sound unites different styles, which hardly fits into one single genre and are always exploring new musical spaces, combining their Ableton skills and live instruments, forming a unique ear-candy-mixture of grooves.
They have been busy releasing their music since October 2010 on diverse netlabels. Their first EP “One Dub Many Roots“, was released on the French netlabel LCL, while in 2011 their first long-player ”Reset all systems“ was released on Angel Dust Records. Their next album “Freedom of choice” was released in august 2014 again on LCL.
Dubophonic is proud to host their new album “Keep on moving”. It’s a compilation of 12 songs representing their unique and unconventional blend of dub & reggae. Modern and roots-elements are combined with drum/n/bass, electro, dubstep, indie rock heavy guitars, conscious lyrics and of course deep basses and delays.
Mastered by the pioneering artist, producer and peace activist Celt Islam, their new release (and their first on our netlabel) is a proof of the duo’s strength and innovation: writing reggae and dub oriented music with socially conscious lyrics and musically exploring different ideas, oscillating between danceable and meditative, powerful and calm, groovy and heavy, on their quest to define the far distanced borders of dub music.<p>Tags:<a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/dub">DUB</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/fusion">FUSION</a>, <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/browse/release/tag/indie%20rock">INDIE ROCK</a>, </p><p>License: <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0">Creative Commons | by-nd</a></p><p>m3u: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20134">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/m3u/20134</a><br />zip: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20134">http://sonicsquirrel.net/get/release/zip/20134</a></p><p>Release page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Keep+on+moving/20134">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Keep+on+moving/20134</a><br />Label page: <a href="http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/Dub-o-phonic/1742">http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/Dub-o-phonic/1742</a></p>Chaotic Passagehttp://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/release/Chaotic+Passage/20133Sat, 27 Aug 2016 16:01:08 +0200<h5>released on HAZE by Aortha & Philip Palmer</h5><img src="http://media.sonicsquirrel.net/image/release/20133_RS_75.jpg" /><br /><p>released on HAZE by Aortha & Philip Palmer</p>Live improvisation performance in Zair Azgur Museum.

Experiments In Isolation Three is the final installment of Scott Lawlor's exploration of sensory deprivation (also known as perceptual isolation) on CerebralAudio. This installment takes on the major forms of therapy / studies used in this area.
Chamber REST therapy involves a subject is laying on a platform for 24 hours in a room that reduces sound to a low level (typically around 80db). No mechanical devices are used to restrict the subject, only the instructions define the restrictions. Food, water and bathroom facilities are at the decision of the tester. Subjects can leave before the 24 hours has concluded. Few leave during the experiment.
Flotation REST therapy involves a subject laying supine in a tank containing a specially prepared solution. Attempting to turn over in the solution requires special effort. The test typically lasts for approximately one hour. During the experiment the brain actively emits either alpha or beta brainwaves for about forty minutes. During the last twenty minutes of the experiment, the brain typically starts emitting theta waves for an extended period (several minutes as opposed to the brief occurrences prior to regular sleep).
There is much debate over which of these treatments is a better form of therapy due to their inherent differences. Each of the treatments has a different emphasis on the type of questions being asked, and the nature of the human mind.
