Null is a special pointer value (or other kind of object reference) used to signify that a pointer intentionally does not point to (or refer to) an object. Such a pointer is called a null pointer.[1] Many implementations use a value of 0 (all bits zero) to represent the null pointer, as this is at the bottom of the address space of most CPUs (although some architectures use a signed address space and use the most negative value). Many operating systems generate an exception when an attempt is made to access this memory address. Some languages use other nomenclature for such a pointer, e.g., Pascal uses nil.

Der Begriff Gastarbeiter wurde in den 1950er Jahren in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland für die in großer Zahl im Ausland angeworbenen Arbeitsmigranten populär. Er gilt als Euphemismus. Spätere Versuche ihn durch treffendere Begriffe wie „ausländischer Arbeitnehmer“ zu ersetzten, waren – was sowohl wissenschaftliche Pubklikationen als auch den allgemeinen Sprachgebrauch betrifft – nur zum Teil erfolgreich.
In den ersten Jahren kam die Arbeitsmigration der deutschen Wirtschaft entgegen. In der Zeit des wirtschaftlichen Aufschwungs und der sogenannten Vollbeschäftigung mangelte es an Arbeitnehmern für gering qualifizierte Tätigkeiten, vor allem in der Montan- und Automobilindustrie, Stadt- und Gebäudereinigung und für andere arbeitsintensive Tätigkeiten.
Die ersten Gastarbeiter, die in dieser Zeit angeworben wurden, kamen aus Italien, Spanien, Jugoslawien, in geringerer Zahl auch aus Griechenland (sog. Anwerbestaaten). Ab 1960 kamen auch Gastarbeiter aus der Türkei und Portugal. 1964 wurde in der Bundesrepublik der offiziell einmillionste Gastarbeiter, ein Portugiese, begrüßt. Er bekam zur Begrüßung eine Mofa geschenkt. Zu den Anwerbeländern kamen auch Tunesien, Marokko und Südkorea dazu; mit den Philippinen wurden Anwerbeverträge für Krankenpflegepersonal geschlossen.
Arbeitnehmer, die aufgrund der Freizügigkeitsregelungen der EWG in der BRD arbeiteten (Belgien, Frankreich, Niederlande) oder ohne besondere Vertragsgrundlage dort arbeiteten (Österreich, Schweiz, England, USA) wurden gewöhnlich nicht als „Gastarbeiter“ bezeichnet. Zahlenmäßig spielten sie auch nur eine geringe Rolle gegenüber denen, die über Anwerbeabkommen geholt wurden.

The music is composed from samples and recordings of naturally occurring sounds. Sometimes these samples can be treated to make them more instrument-like. The samples may be arranged in repetitive ways to form a conventional musical structure or may be random and unfocused. Sometimes the sound is mixed with urban or “found” sounds. Examples include much of Biosphere’s Substrata, Mira Calix’s insect music and Chris Watson’s Weather Report. Some overlap occurs between organic ambient and nature inspired ambient. One of the first albums in the genre, Wendy Carlos’ Sonic Seasonings, combines sampled and synthesized nature sounds with ambient melodies and drones for a particularly relaxing effect. The album Second Nature by Bill Laswell, Tetsu Inoue, and Atom Heart is an ambient album that uses processed nature sounds, with reverb and echo to create a hypnotic environment.

Various versions of chemtrail conspiracy theory have circulated through internet websites and talk radio programs. In some of the accounts, the chemicals are described as barium and aluminum salts, polymer fibers, thorium, or silicon carbide. In other accounts its alleged the skies are being seeded with electrical conductive materials as part of a massive electromagnetic superweapons program based around the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP). The reasons given by those who believe in the conspiracy vary widely as well between military weapons testing, chemical population control, or measures to mitigate global warming. Federal agencies and scientists have consistently denied these claims, insisting the sky tracks are simple contrails. As the chemtrail conspiracy theory spread, federal officials were flooded with angry calls and letters. A multi-agency response to dispel the rumors was published in a 2000 fact sheet by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a step many chemtrail believers interpeted as further evidence of the existence of a government cover-up.

i looked up and saw a tree. it was a green one but perhaps it was a white one too. the crown gleamed as it would be polished by hand. i listened to the sounds which came from everywhere. 'maybe 10 birds' i thought. listened once again 'maybe 10 big and 899 little birds' i was looking around but no birds were to be seen. and i was surprised. where came the tones from, and then i saw all those little knobs and potis hanging on the brunches. they looked like bird-berries calling 'hold the left and set the value' who cares the nature.

Skunk species vary in size from about 15.6 to 37 inches (40 to 70 cm) and in weight from about 1.1 pounds (0.5 kg) (the spotted skunks) to 18 pounds (8.2 kg) (the hog-nosed skunks). They have a moderately elongated body with reasonably short, well-muscled legs, and long front claws for digging. Although the most common fur color is black and white, some skunks are brown or gray, and a few are cream-colored. All skunks are striped, even from birth. They may have a single thick stripe across back and tail, two thinner stripes, or a series of white spots and broken stripes (in the case of the spotted skunk). Some also have stripes on their legs.

Heartwood is wood that has died and become more resistant to decay as a result of deposition of chemical substances (a genetically programmed process). It appears in a cross-section as a usually colored circle, usually following the annual rings in shape. Heartwood is usually much darker than living wood, and forms with age. Many woody plants do not form heartwood, but other processes, such as decay, can discolor wood in similar ways, leading to confusion. Before the development of the electric guitar and the use of synthetic materials, a guitar was defined as being an instrument having "a long, fretted neck, flat wooden soundboard, ribs, and a flat back, most often with incurved sides". Instruments similar to the guitar have been popular for at least 5,000 years. The six string classical guitar first appeared in Spain but was itself the product of a long and complex history of diverse influences. Like virtually all other stringed European instruments, the guitar ultimately traces back thousands of years, via the Near East, to a common ancient origin from instruments then known in central Asia and India. It is distantly related with contemporary instruments such as the tanbur, setar, and the Indian sitar. The oldest known iconographic representation of an instrument displaying all the essential features of a guitar being played is a 3,300 year old stone carving of a Hittite bard. The modern word, guitar, was adopted into English from Spanish guitarra (German Gitarre, French Guitare), loaned from the Andalusian Arabic qitara and Latin cithara, which in turn was derived from the earlier Greek word kithara, which is related to Old Persian sihtar.

The English word tribe occurs in 13th century Middle English literature as referring to one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The word is from Old French tribu, in turn from Latin tribus, the name of the tripartite ethnic divisions of the original Roman state (Tites, Ramnes, and Luceres, corresponding, perhaps, to the Latins, Sabines, and Etruscans). The term's ultimate etymology is uncertain, perhaps from the PIE roots *tri- "three" and *bhew- "to be".[1] From 241 BC, the Tribal Assembly (comitia tributa) in the Roman Republic was organized in 35 Tribes (4 "Urban Tribes" and 31 "Rural Tribes"). The Latin word as used in the Bible translates Greek phyle "race, tribe, clan". In the historical sense, "tribe", "race" or "clan" can be used interchangeably.

The first time I had been in contact with Russian producer Vladislav Kudryavtsev was when he asked me to release the MONOKLE debut LP "TESAURUS" with 12rec. Although all the quality was there I did not feel it suiting the label sound too good. Fortunately, the album found a proper home with ideology.de early in 2009. When it turned 2010 Vlad was in contact again, this time pulling a collaboration LP with vocalist GALUN out of the magic hat. Sergey Galunenko aka GALUN is a former beatbox artist that moved from underground Rap to Pop, experimental Electronica and contemporary composition with stunning success. "IN FRAME" is the name of their red hot full-length as a duo - and this time I made sure to fix a release. What we get to hear on "IN FRAME" is a mixture from Hip Hop beats, quixotic Pop melodies and precisely these mesmerizing Postrock motives I was fond of with "TESAURUS" already. The whole production is dense and warm and full of details and influences. Neo-Krautrock acts like Fujiya & Miyagi, To Rococo Rot or Caribou might spring in mind and especially in combination with GALUNs' decent vocal performance, the solo works of Thom Yorke have to be cited. The frontcover comes from US-American collage artist Brandi Strickland. Laden with different textures and colour her Dada-inspired art is as lyrical as the music on "IN FRAME" is.
