This, for Ika Sali retro release, come from random Ika idea, records his own girlfriend, where connecting this female Slovak vocals with some synthesizers, deep bass, percussions and other samples come to in 2003 to creating original track "A dost Bolo". Ika don’t very want present this track to public, but the track find the way to people alone and in 2006 Czech producer Panmonu and Slovak minimal talent Raganova make for Ika psychology minimal remixes. The last and finally reason for releasing this E.P. was in year 2007 super minimal house dance-floor remix from also Slovakia young producer EMD.

release number fourty-five on fish recordings is here:once upon a time a brave man went on a journey to space and time with onlyone thing on his mind: he wanted to find the secret behind the ability to think.this is the sory about his thinquest.the first place of interest were the pyramids of gizeh. some years ago, he ownedan ancient book telling that the secret can be found there. so he travelled to egyptand sneaked inside the biggest pyramid. there he found nothing but mummies.suddenly one mummy stood up and walked towards him. first he was frightened but the mummy started to talk. it told him that there is no need to be afraid.he stumbled back and forgot to run away because he was quite shocked. the mummy told him that he must go to atlantis to find what he was looking for.so he got himself a submarine and headed for the bermuda triangle.after arriving in the famous area of the bermuda triangle, he encountereda huge octopus in the deep water. this monster had tentacles of 20 m length. he had no chance to fight against this giant predator. it incorporated the submarine and then something strange happened while the vehicle was inside of the octopus. the submarine started to glow all over but in fact the temperature of it did not heat up. a lot of strange noises accompanied this event. the brave man lost consciousness. when he woke up he was at a weird place which had no left or right nor up and down. the only thing he saw was an odd coloured fog. some unknown creatures engaged him through that fog. they had two heads, a body shaped like an egg, no legs or arms. their face was also very strange: they had trunks instead of noses, countless eyes and no mouth. the creatures captivated the brave man and carried him to a large building which looked like a temple. inside of the building hundreds of other creatures waited and grunted. the brave man was very afraid because he could not understand what was going to happen. he wanted to scream but was gagged with an awful smelling plant. the grunting of the creatures got louder and louder and all of them started to levitate around him. in the middle of the room was a big fire with green and purple flames. the creatures pushed him into that fire and grunted even louder but awkwardly he felt no pain when he reached the flames. he started to melt and suddenly he woke up and realized: it was all the idea of a guy writing a promo text for a release on fish recordings and who certainly does not want to give out any of those standardized hype texts which are ignored anyways...

Dementia and Hope Trails comes to my humble label from a place I once called home….Maryland and what a treat it is to have him here. The purveyor of Rainbow Bridge Recordings who has released recordings from fellow pandafuzz-er Julia LaDense (and a wealth of other well known artists such as Andrew Coltrane and Red Electric Rainbow), and the driving force behind a veritable tidal wave of activity ranging from tapes to live performances…Dementia and Hope Trails provides us with an homage to his recently acquired feline Masuka.
It is a spacious journey that is a pleasure for both the left and right channels…not an experience to be had at soft volumes on low quality speakers but rather an aural journey of high order that avoids exploitation of panning and instead fills a new space. It’s foray into the digital world can feel foreign to me at times and in the beginning I almost walked around this influence so it would not influence me personally. Once through the entire work it shows it’s place and justifies itself as an appropriate method.
In a recent flood of demo material, coupled with a severe disconnect from the online world due to my rural setting, I was happy to receive this in the mail and am proud to present it for your listening. As we go through 2010 cautiously on new soil I am more inundated than ever with material to release and want to stand behind each one as if it were my own and Song of Masuka is no exception to that rule….See you back here in 14:48.

The fall rains, so rarely seen this year, blow cold against my cheek. Generally during this time of year I find myself leaning on old records such as The Nudes by Pele to guide me into winter. Being my first hall season out here in Minnesota the season moves much faster and with more aggression. Needing something more direct and to the point Martin Back’s newest release, Unstable Rotation Centers, provides this new experience. Martin Back approaches music with extreme precision and deliberate movement. We had been communicating on and off for some months based off of a single track he had sent in and I had trust and faith his deliberation would provide something fully complete. Happy pagan new year from metal-oxide-malfunction. Even though we do not condone nor do we associate with the pagan religion, we thought it would be proper to release this one on Halloween. This of course by resident artist Telegraphy, goes in a different direction that we are use to. With spoken word poetry and sprinkled with field recordings Telegraphy takes a 15 min brake from the "normal" experimental music seen and goes avant-garde on all of us.
