In SHA own words: The creation of Go starts in 2001 and proceeds through phases, some of them very hard, making the completion difficult.

Today instead, being aware that building the “inner emptyness” - as Cioran says - is difficult like to organise a wonderful ballett, here it is.

The concept of Go comes from the homonymous asiatic board game. “It’s a very complex game strategically, even though it has simples rules; An old saying about Go is that no game has ever been played twice, and that could be true considering that there are around 4,63 · 10170 different positions on a Goban 19x19(cit)”.. Go is a sonic match played between Topo Gigio - icon of italian avantgarde - and Doraemon - icon of the Japanese avantgarde. Obviously the resemblance with the english verb “Go” is not accidental. The album is a concoction of questions, formed by fragments that are meant to muddle up the players strategies, just like in a match. In Go self sampling and quotes from previous works, not known to the many, are often used, just like how it usually happens during the act of Thinking.

It should sound like a pile of B sides by Duran Duran put in a electronic NoisePop washingmachine together with some hints from the mentalest italic productions of Gaber, Nannini and Battisti.

We will see in thirty years time.

La concezione di Go ha radici nel 2001 e procede per fasi , alcune molto dure con varie difficoltà nel terminarla.

Oggi invece, presa coscienza che costruirsi il vuoto dentro- come dice Cioran- sia difficile come organizzare uno splendido balletto, eccolo qua.

La tematica di Go è l’omonimo gioco asiatico.

“È un gioco molto complesso strategicamente malgrado le sue regole semplici; un proverbio del go dice che nessuna partita è mai stata giocata due volte, il che è anche verosimile considerato che ci sono circa 4,63 · 10170 diverse posizioni possibili su un goban 19×19”(cit)..

Questa partita sonora è giocata fra Topo Gigio – icona dell’ avanguardia Italiana – e Doraemon –icona dell’avanguardia Giapponese.naturalmente la somiglianza con l’inglese “vai” non è casuale. Il disco è un frullato di domande, composto da frammenti atti a confondere le idee come in una partita. Riaffiorano anche auto campionamenti e citazioni da precedenti lavori poco noti ai piu’, come capita a volte mentre si pensa.

Dovrebbe suonare come un ammasso di lati B dei Duran Duran messi in una lavatrice noisepop elettronica con accenni alla produzione Italica piu’ folgorata di Gaber, Nannini e Battisti.

Fra trent’anni ne riparleremo.

Liner Notes! So: "Sound Chip" or "Home Computer" music has come a long way. While most people started to notice that in the middle of the 1980s computer games were beginning to feature really cool music, there is another history that I have grown more interest in: Before professional games, before cracker intros and before demos, home computer users were peeking and poking around their machines' memory in search for the addresses the soundchip would react to. They often used the built-in BASIC commands to recreate Christmas songs, Bach fugues, military marches, sometimes "Smoke on the Water". The source code was published in home computer magazines or copied around on disk or tape mags. It was a kind of folk culture. One can argue that this spirit lasted into the sound tracker culture, where the source code for music is available to those who want to see it. But with the coming of audio recording formats like MP3, you get "free music", however you cannot see how it is made anymore. MP3 contains mixdowns, parts may be recorded from sources outside of the computer. And if somebody would give you their Cubase file, it would hardly help because you would not have the right "virtual synth" installed. And the huge selection of arbitrary virtual synths one might or might not own makes it difficult to interpret music, at least if you want to go deeper than "aewsoem" or "suX0rz". In order to revive some of these things that appear valuable to me, I am trying to create a new kind of folk music for standardized instruments easily available to everybody: obsolete and therefore cheap computers. Plus, I publish all source code on http://noobz.cc/ in the hope that somebody will learn from it. In sound chip music, every sound is deliberately set. There is no magical recording moment or microphone or compressor setting that would be impossible to recreate. And by default, there is nothing, just silence. There is no set of 9999 snare drums included. Well, okay, if you use the Microsoft General Midi synth, like it did with "Zombie & Mummy", there are 127 instruments included. But you know them all, you heard them a thousand times before. I think they are as much a standard as the square waves produced by the YM2149 sound chip of my Atari. This means that I took care of everything ("gekümmert") and certainly hope this album will bring out some tears.Dragan Espenschied

Music For Danny DeVito

This time Mixgalaxy Records made a special compilation for Mr. Danny DeVito. Why? Because nobody has never done this for him before. At least officially. We sorta didn’t know what kind of music he prefers so we’ve set up a tracklist of a wide variety of genres for him to pick from. We decided that making it a private release would be unfair to our listeners so you all are very much welcome to give this record a listen and share it with your friends of course.
It’s an easy bet to say that for Mr. DeVito all the names here are new, however for our regular listeners this release is once again a mix of old timers (even including Jacobo – a raggae-dub side project of Sinestesia) and a couple of guest artists which we would like to present. Meet Abel Mariam from San Jose, California, USA who contributed an opening track and meet Russian-Norwegian duo Zunzagi which consists of sound producer Sergei from Tomsk and singer Julia from Oslo. And finally welcome Without Time band form Grodno, Bealrus.
So, as you can expect from Mixgalaxy Records it’s a nice one hour set of good tracks fluctuating from easy listening and folk-pop to electro-house, breakbeat and even hip-hop. And if by any chance you are an acquaintance of Mr. DeVito – make sure to pass him the link, that will do us all a big favor.

Adviruz is an electronic music project started by Pýnar Gürcan in 2009. Adviruz, combining her tracks composed over the years and the technical knowledge she acquired and giving them form in a computer, published online albums and recruited successful engineers and musicians Erhan Kabakçý and Barýþ Gökçer Akbay. Later on the team was accompanied by thereminist Cihan Gülbudak. Barýþ G. Akbay, Erhan Kabakçý and Cihan Gülbudak are providing guitar, bass, theremin and production support to electronic based tracks of Adviruz, still actively pursuing her efforts. After debut-album "Nightly Sounds" on Section 27 Netlabel, we're proudly present you this second release from Adviruz, "A Place To Hide". All songs are composed by Pýnar Gürcan except for the covers "Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)" and "Love Is As Good As Soma" (original by Tiamat). All songs programmed by Pýnar Gürcan. Electric Guitars in "Love Scum" was played by Erhan Kabakçý. Electric Guitars and Bass in "Owls" was played by Barýþ Gökçer Akbay.
