„Paspreture” is a kind of an inner journey based on the music I was composing and recording in the last 10 years - music that was made in my past, that led me to my future, which became my present in all senses.. I made a choice of these 8 particular songs that represent my musical paths the best way. They are not sorted chronologically, but emotionally, with a special attention to atmosphere they possess.. The opening song „Landscape of a Newborn Planet” is of great significance for me, cause I sampled my baby son’s laughter, so whenever I listen to it, I can’t wait the end to hear that sweet sound of eternal happiness and hope - this music is all about that.. „Eternal” had its moment „outside of the box”, with being performed with live improvisational piano by Maria Ligeti Balint at her unique concert of contemporary piano music. „What Can I Do” and „How Long” are inspired by lyrics of Sri Chinmoy. Whenever I listen to „Reflections” I keep seeing Roberta Demeglio’s wonderful exhibition, where this music went in loop during the whole process.. „Blue” is a very simple, truthful, sad song, that got special flavors in various live performances, especially with Norman Baiocchi’s heartfelt guitar line.. „Belgrade Hotel” was created as a soundtrack for quite radical architectural project by Nenad Simić, using the lyrics by Eddie Vedder.. „Lullaby”, the closing song of this EP, again is of great significance for me, just as much as the opening one, ’cause it brought back love and hope in me that got lost on the way somehow.. it helped me start breathing again.. The EP cover is made by Nenad Simić (Brutal Office).

The Stuxnet virus was planted at the Natanz nuclear facility by “an Israeli proxy” using a corrupt memory stick, former and serving US intelligence officials told the Industrial Safety and Security Source website.

The unnamed sources said a saboteur used a memory stick to infect the machines at Natanz nuclear facility.

In October 2010, Iran’s Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said an unspecified number of nuclear spies were arrested in connection with the virus.

The Americans said the insider was a member of the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO).

Former head of the CIA Counterterrorism Vince Cannistraro said Israel is using the MKO as the assassination arm of its spy agency, Mossad, for targeted killings of Iranian scientists.

He said the MKO is in charge of executing “the motor attacks on Iranian targets chosen by Israel. They go to Israel for training, and Israel pays them.”

Stuxnet, first indentified by the Iranian officials in June 2010, is a malware designed to infect computers using Siemens supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) -- a control system favored by industries that manage water supplies, oil rigs, and power plants.

In July 2010, media reports claimed that Stuxnet had targeted industrial computers around the globe, with Iran being the main target of the attack. They said the country's Bushehr nuclear power plant was at the center of the cyber attack. //presstv

Gardens From Light have been part of the Resting Bell family since their first release in 2007, "Birds Of Joy And Sorrow". It's been four and a half years since that colossal debut, and following a protracted genesis, the new one-man version of Gardens From Light brings us "The Axis Of The Skies".

"The Axis Of The Skies" is a huge 77-minute piece, loosely inspired by the H.P. Lovecraft story Polaris. It is designed to evoke a feeling of drifting in and out of a dream world, whilst simultaneously floating through space towards a dying star. It is divided into 5 pieces but is best enjoyed as a single long-form piece. If you take a listen, you’ll drift into a massive world of sound. Sparkling melodies; dark, droning environments and GFL's trademark use of field recordings are all there, changing around and guiding you through this journey. The climax of the piece is the fourth section, "Gravity Assist", with its slowly-evolving, harshly distorted parts changing to a very subtle and quiet passage leading into the final part of the work.

As ever, I can recommend to listen to this piece with headphones and with much time in the pocket. Welcome back, Gardens From Light - and thanks a lot for this exceptional work.

PiXtar is back with his fourth album. That's right. Describing sound in multimedia era is kinda tedios and absolutely useless work. But we need to write something about it, don't we? Our regular followers could notice that PiXtar's tracks have a complicated multilayered structure with many little details all over the room and on the other hand there are pretty rhytmic commonly acceptable grooves. This album has rather 'mainstream' than 'underground' flavour. The sound is cool and solid as usual, less IDM more electro and breakbeat with a slight reminiscence of retro electronica. After all since the myth about always young and always progressive electronic music had busted we are sentenced to retro. This album description is over. It's time to listen to the MUSIC.

The sound is epic - massive reverberating pads with ghostly chopped up samples and glitchy, organic microbeats.

I am reluctant to call this ambient, even though that is probably what this is closest to. This is more - the sound of changing weather in the far distance.

A relatively uptempo release on This Side Down is the second piece of the Resurge puzzle. Three unique tracks coming from two familiar faces and yet another newcomer on This Side. No stranger to us, Yiannis Likos shared one of his tracks a long time ago, a piece of music we always wanted to place as a release starter and that now seems to have found a perfect fit. Late Nites is a completely hardware based, timeless retro-feel electronic track that blends beautifully a phat bassline, a wicked flute and rich snares to a great effect.

Lee Fraged takes an opposite approach with his laptop acid electro track Helix composed deep in the mountains using his headphones only. Blunt beats and moody pads pair up with 909 based percussion and an acidic bassline taking you with him in a downward spiral.

Mick Chillage, after his great releases on Pete Namlook's FAX records and txt recordings, offers up another of his exquisite tracks, Alive With Wires, a nicely arranged electronic track with moody pads & distinctive melodies, a redeeming closer to your listening session...

Album In A Day volume 4 - 7 April 2012

On Saturday, 7th April 2012, musicians around the world each wrote and recorded a complete new song, from scratch in one day - all on the same day!
The next day, these songs were collected and put together as this album.
The day after that, the album was released as a free download!

After the success of Album In A Day volumes 1-3, we had to do this all over again. The enthusiastic response from listeners and everyone involved is fantastic.

Remember, none of the music on this album existed before Saturday 7th April 2012.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and to those who wanted to but couldn't.
