Running is a means of terrestrial locomotion allowing humans and other animals to move rapidly on foot. It is simply defined in athletics terms as a gait in which at regular points during the running cycle both feet are off the ground. This is in contrast to walking, where one foot is always in contact with the ground, the legs are kept mostly straight and the center of gravity vaults over the legs in an inverted pendulum fashion. A characteristic feature of a running body from the viewpoint of spring-mass mechanics, is that changes in kinetic and potential energy within a stride occur simultaneously, with energy storage accomplished by springy tendons and passive muscle elasticity. The term running can refer to any of a variety of speeds ranging from jogging to sprinting.

Artificial Sounds Experiments

Following the Italian trend of the last Crazy-Language release, another gem all the way from Italy under the name Monoiz. Retaining a clear Raster Noton influence on his first incursion through the realms of digital free albums, Multiplied Phoneme doesn’t just provide the clickies and the static. The surprise comes from when haunting pads wash the noise away, giving room for some heart on the desolate and mechanical pulses, capable of melting the coldest of ices. Also present on a couple of tunes, are some rather satisfying dub soundscapes, lifting your body from wherever you are, to just move and feel it on a whole different level. A consistent but varied ride from start to finish and a welcome addition to the already varied sound palette of Crazy-Language. (F.G.)

I met Hola One aka Marek Ogorzalek by the time I was running XS Records [Portuguese netlabel] with Tiago Morgado, and ever since I have been following is work, sometimes even collaborating with him.
Hola One’s work is characterized by an exploration into different types of music, from techno to dub, from hip-hop to rock, and that is what makes his music so appealing, the easiness that Hola One shows when jumping from one style to the other while maintaining a structure that allows for a continuum in each album. Additionally, Hola One’s work has been very innovative also because along time he has been inviting more and more people to work with him. Poros aka Paulo Vicente started working with Hola One a couple of albums ago and he is now including is luxurious bass into every album by Hola One, other collaborators lend their voice, guitar, keyboard and other instruments.
For Timeshift, Hola One invited Doctor Memory aka Marlon Kempmann and his guitar to make this ep. You can expect then a combination of electronics and guitar, supported by several other musicians, in a beat oriented album, that is Hola One’s best work so far. The production of the ep is perfect, the rough edges are all gone, and every sounds fits with the other quite harmoniously. This doesn’t mean that the album is boring but completely the other way around, it sounds like a mature work from an artist that knows where he is going and that already masters his process very well.

The Spacecowboy's of "experimental-futuristic-soundscapes and story-telling", want to take you on their trip and exploration in other worlds. Take a seat and let them controll your mind.
This guys know, how to mix spoken words and different instruments, in a crazy groovy way.

Our journey begins with the start into the space with "Noto No Także Ten"
and get some travel-"problems" on the way to our spacestation. We must halt in between for repairworks and get some messages from mother earth in "Memento". What's this? Hallucinations?
Reality? I don't know, but it feel great. They must be the "Sirens of the Galaxy". Or did i drunk to much "Ether"? After some crazy minutes, I escaped the sweet voice of the sirens and now i am "Adrift" in space. I lost my gravity and awareness. The shuttlecrew pick me up and we start to the "Forgotten Land". It's a hot area on this planet and in the last edge of it some undiscovered civilisations. We wave a "White Flag" and show our peacefully intents.

This is what i think, when i hear this ep and only a little extraction of my thoughts.
I can't describe the style or genre's, but it sounds great and emotional.
All sounds,voices and grooves are warm, crazy and intelligent.
Enjoy this trip to other worlds and have a nice dream.

Paranoid Breaks is a small collective based in Suffolk, England. They came together as a result of their love for underground music. Formed in 2009 to bring a new spin on the music that heavily influenced their lives,
traditionally starting with the old rave scene and moving through to drum and bass, electronica and hard house. They work closely with two other up and coming artists: Brosh and Chemical Production to give a varied range of music.

DZZ, aka Alex Diamantis, is from Stephens City, United States. He’s 17 and mainly produces dubstep, electronic, and ambient. If you’re wondering what the “DZZ” means, then he don’t have an answer for you. It just sounded cool.

As well as last December we complete June 2012 with another Saito Koji-release.

"Sleepy" is a single, one hour long track. His last releases "Guide" and "Again" based on the limited time-frame of three minutes and presented drone and ambient soundscapes in a really focused and condensed version. Listening to a one hour piece is the complete counterpart.
The sounds within this track have the chance to evolve with every listen. Based on a simple looping guitar structure, you find more and more swirling tones and fragments, you didn't recognize before.

The Wild Places are everywhere, it is within us and it is out there. These wild places are found there where we see life in its purest, where the human presence has not corrupted and moulded things according to their own selfish desires but rather there where God's will and grand beauty is most evident and most clear.

The road less travelled - The pursuit, the longing, the search for the essence of life, the true and purposed meaning which transcends that which is seen. This is a road not often travelled in this age where desires are gratified on demand, mostly with a lifeless counterfeit of the real experience, and purpose is measured on the amount of material wealth you have attained. This road less travelled is a narrow path, a path that seems hard to find and stay on but once taken ultimately leads you into a lush valley where the source of beauty and meaning is found. You have what it takes - You have what it takes to be triumphant over those battles and challenges that you are facing right now, and over those that are to come.

True heart - To have a true heart, to seek and strive for that which is good, pure, right and noble. To dream, to love, to live as you were meant to be and to become your true self.

Stay the course - You will face many challenges in reaching your goals, your quests, your dreams. But stand fast and don't give up. Stay the course. For soon, just beyond the horizon, you will get there, and when you reach it, it will be all the more glorious.

Slowly but surely - Nothing that is worth anything good happens in an instant. Time reveals beauty. There is always a history that has prepared the way for something great to happen to, or through, it. Therefore, keep at it, get into the groove, for slowly but surely the beauty and the glory of its true purpose will be revealed.

The crux of the story - There is a climax to every story. A moment where all the events leading up to that point comes together, their greater purpose being revealed. So too it is with this grand story of life. The crux of the story, where all time and space crossed over to set things in a new direction, to set things right, to set the course towards eternity.

There is a mystery - There is beauty and wonder in the mysteries of life, even more so if there is something great behind that mystery. For not everything in this life is known or will ever be fully known. There exists a vast mystery that is profound beyond measure. There is a mystery to you and to your soul. There is only One who can reveal this mystery and that is the Creator of All. The first steps towards this revelation is faith (acceptance and trust), love (wonder, gratitude, consideration and humility) and hope (expectations for great things to come).

Something greater - There is something great behind the existence of everything. Something greater beyond the horizon of what we perceive as life. Something vast and indescribable. Something greater still. Something which only your soul can truly comprehend. You can witness a glimpse of this greatness for yourself for its likeness can be found within you.

Liberation by The X-Structure

It was a time not unlike now. A time where darkness and corruption reigned. The situation looked dire. Justice was required. Then during the dark of night a Hero was born. As time passed the Hero wandered into the wilderness alone. On his journey he came to know who he was and where he was to go, and that he was in fact not alone, for his Father's guiding spirit was always with him. The Hero, now a man, found his way to a dusty town, a town called Hopefound. Here the darkness had corrupted the streets and blinded the hearts of women and men. Where there once was virtue and righteousness, now there was only perversion and
tyranny that covered the town in its thick dark veil. The Light that first set life into motion and brought reality into sight was nowhere being sought. But now as our Hero's searching light lit up the dark streets it was made known that there was a new sheriff in town. The Hero donned his starshaped badge and set forth to free the darkened souls who once knew the joy and truth of the Light. Everyone was in need of his saving grace, the good, the bad and the ugly. They were being released from the bonds of their self-destructive ways, their selfish deeds and the lies of the Enemy. Yes even those poor souls were being recued who thought too highly of themselves and those who had been left outside with no hope, forsaken by the rest of them. They were getting their true identity back. The next day came as the Hero approached the town center. As he stopped for a moment's rest he was beset by the Corrupt Major's hired gang of bandits, thugs and thiefs, encircled from every side. The sun now sat at highnoon. A showdown was about to take place, a showdown that would decide everyone's fate. The bandits had taken hostage all those poor souls who were out there in the streets, holding up before the Hero their past offences and evil deeds. The Major reckoned to the Righteous Judge, who had also appeared among them, that they were to be his, as their vile deeds where not much different from the very likes of his. The Judge considered his plea but said that it was high time that the records be set straight and that the Mayor's own time would also soon come. The Hero called out for a ransom to be given, to pay the debt for the peoples' due retribution. The Judge then reckoned that only good could right this evil for Justice required that the balance between right and wrong be equal. It was said, the Hero's life in exchange for those who were held captive so that his righteousness might clear their name. The Hero took the call and laid down his life for all, for he knew who they were and were they were to go, yes even those who had forsaken him. As the day's end slowly drew near and the rescued ran joyous and free, those who were there were sure they could see the silhouette of the Hero in the far distance, riding away into the sunset.
