On the night of 7 to 8 April 2011 in Minsk, musician, poet, scientist Evgeny Konovalov died.
It is called one of the pioneers of rock and roll in Belarus. The first group with Konovalov called "Algorithms" was formed in 1965 on the basis of the Institute of Radio Engineering. In the 68th on "The First Festival Beat ensembles Minsk" "Algorithms" won first place, and Evgeny was the best solo guitarist.
During the 70's Evgeny Konovalov perform in various formulations, and then went away for two decades in science, where he studied laser physics. In the late 90's Konovalov again become to perform, recorded a number of albums - from blues to avant-garde. The last time Eugene came on the scene in September 2010.

This release includes records that musician made at home. HAZE Netlabel expresses the respect Evgeny Konovalov.

Ichi, ni, san, shi!

Nearly for the last 20 years he has left his marks on the Dresden music-underground. In the 90ies he shaped bands like Aspekte der Eitelkeit und Montana Peachclub. During the last years he was responsible for the project Lindbergh. Every time he was interested in the intersection of the genres Folk, Pop and Elektro to form songs, which tell stories, erratic and with a homogeneous sound.

With his current band Shortcuts Andreas Schulze again remains true to his vocabulary. But not only the conceptual use of Nintendos playstation DS as an electronic sound source, but also the participation of drummer Julia Stephan (Flanschies) and guitarist Marco Sebastian Christ (ne:o) makes it possible to ensnare his thread with pleasant fine and rich in contrast ideas.

“Thanks, I Feel Fine” is the trio’s first album. 11 close-cropped songs, 11 stories in english and german language, a journey full of daydreams and sleepless nights, which ends with an enquiring gaze back and with the wish “AGAIN!” spoken out loud.

The Album is not just available as a free download, in addition the band offers a physical version in form of a 10-inch record containing the songs “Flying Jive”, “Stuhlstück”, “Holy Sand” and “Ulrich, die Made” plus the complete album on cd-r. Here is something quite special.
After their recent success playing the first ever BFW live online concert, four of the members of Swedish electronic music collective Dogma Noveau have collaborated on this unique and brilliant album.
This really is a wonderful album. We hope they do this again some time soon.

BSCB is a collaborative concept, a remixive co-release by Meteer, Exterm, Closer Contact and Integer Ring.

Description: Four artists remixing each other, resulting in sixteen electronic music creations.
Each artist created one original composition and then shared it with the others. They in turn did a remix of all the original tracks in order to add their own unique flavour. The results are four original tracks, each remixed three times.
The graphics for each track represents both the artist and the remixer - the sign represents the artist and the colour represents the remixer.

Deep life, High sensations. That was my inspiration for this second album. Through the whole album you'll be accompagnied by deep feelings and basses, which will lift you high. For the large ambient atmosphere, I used a lot of oldschool syths and vintage mastering equipment. I think music should be easy listened.

I would like to dedicate this album especially to my parents Catherine and Vassili, who supports me and offer me love, I hoped for. Thanks to all the persons who inspired me and listened to these pieces with attention before releasing it and thanks to all who shared their feelings together with me in sincerity. Talk about the Deep High Album:

1. Listening Music:

This track was born under shower taking before sleeping. I wanted to mix some deep house rythm with atmo percs and sweet melodies,
which chill me in the evening. I especially used a vintage mastering with vinyil cracks.
This track describes very well the album spirit: deep and high.

2. Coffee In The Morning Sbang:

Based on the deep spirit from the previous track, but enriched with a techno kick and glitchy beats.
As the title suggests, the idea of this track came at a morning coffee with friends.
In the initial phase I produced two versions: "Sugar Mix" and "Without Sugar Mix", but eventually I decided
for "Without Sugar Mix" with its groovy bass and synth lines. The monotonic effect gives that track a lot of possibilities,
for example for a mix set.

3. Couleurs Superposees:

Ambient track. Ideas came from colours and reflexions about their impact on our life.
The large fat pad-sounds reminds me to that strange feeling, when the sun rises up in the morning and all is quiet around us.
Sometimes we can hear the birds singing. A wonderful human sensation. The main message of this track. All is possible.

4. Introspective:

This is about internal issues that sometimes invade our minds, sometimes even preventing us to act.
I think all of us have already felt the sense putting everything into question. That moment that only lasts few seconds,
causes huge consequences on our live. The techno spirit in this track is omnipresent and combining deep bass and a acid melody line.
I hope that people will feel the state of my insipiration.

5. That Single Tree:

I love the contrast on this track. Indeed I combined several musical styles, such as progressive, techno and dance.
"I don't wanna be" is the key phrase of this title. This is simply a tribute to those, who try to build their unique world.
You have already managed to put a square in a circle of the same size?

6. Something Wrong:

This song was born one year ago already when I was walking on the banks of a river. Oddly, obvious I lived in this moment.
Life shouldn't be lived alone. Still remember the outrage I felt, towards our human condition. Especially when this isn't chosen, but imposed.
This track is also the hope in that it seeks to raise us.

7. Our World:

This world belongs to us and it's magnificent. Every day I see the world which surrounds my condition and I transform it to my turn.
We are like a imbricated, one and all. Crossing the same time and nevertheless evolving differently.

8. Flat Day:

Sometimes I have the impression to waste my day. Especially in the job world.

9. Definitions (High Mix):

I arrive to that moment in my life, where the definitions of the other time are not valid any more.
This music was born from my numerous questions about life. Specially those questions about our existence.

A 3-week long road trip to the American Southwest (Toronto, Canada to Colorado, Utah and New Mexico USA). Good thing I managed to take my old beat-up acoustic guitar - even though there was little spaced for it in our tightly packed truck. Big prairie skies, Rocky Mountain panoramas, desert vistas, ghost towns and ancient Anasazi ruins, all inspired me to pick up the guitar and attempt to translate sights into notes. Little 'roadside sketches'... My trusty little field recorder allowed me to actually capture some of the nature sounds which later, back home in my studio, got incorporated into some of the tracks. Hopefully these short musical pieces will evoke the feelings and re-create the sights I had in front of me.

Record everything!
That is the rule I try to live by.
The music on this album was recorded in one week in March 2012, a week when I was rather unwell and thought I had done very little other than take my cold medicine and watch TV in bed.
I played a few soothing tunes on the piano (well, my facsimile of a piano) from time to time, but it came as quite a surprise to find that all of this music had been recorded during that week.

The HAZE Netlabel presents the project Sound Interpretations. In this project we propose to rethink literary heritage of the 20th century. Over the 2012-2013 years, each month we will release the compilation dedicated to the 12 most outstanding writers of the 20th century.
Musicians create tracks-dedications, rethink the writer’s works, translate text to the language of sounds and vibrations.
Sound Interpretations are opened with compilation dedicated to Julio Cortazar. 18 sound artists from all over the world translate images, mood, tempo and rhythm of Julio Cortazar into the language of music.

You look at me, from close up you look at me, closer and closer and then we play cyclops, we look closer and closer at one another and our eyes get larger, they come closer, they merge into one and the two cyplopses look at each other, blending as they breathe, our mouths touch and struggle in gentle warmth, biting each other with their lips, barely holding their tongues on their teeth, playing in corners where a heavy air comes and goes with an old perfume and a silence. Then my hands go to sink into your hair, to cherish slowly the depth of your hair while we kiss as if our mouths were filled with flowers or with fish, with lively movements and dark fragrance. And if we bite each other the pain is sweet, and if we smother each other in a brief and terrible sucking in together of our breaths, that momentary death is beautiful. And there is but one saliva and one flavor of ripe fruit, and I feel you tremble against me like a moon on the water.

Darwin Raymond is primarily a guitar based musician currently residing in Columbus, Ohio.He has also released an EP on Audio Gourmet (Rien/Rain) and an album on FeedbackLoop (Night).

His new release on Resting Bell is called "Beyond The Shore, The Sea" and it is a wonderful album focusing on the ocean. Nine tracks with a complete duration of about 40 minutes. Darwin has focused on the overlap and interplay of memory with the present, which he explores by recording a base guitar track and immediately overdubbing it with additional tracks in order to pursue the feelings evoked by those few moments as they are occurring.

With his work he captured a depth and beauty which you can find again imaging the ocean, a windy shore and the power of waves and tides. Please enjoy!
