Serious cut is versatility in styles. With careful selection of sounds, we shape very personal and impressive creations. Projecting very strictly to excel in the underground scene, we are able to lead their lives and sets from the more experimental, and a downtempo, for more cultural events, the techno industrial focused and appropriate for the night club. Definitely two veterans of electronic music whose real name is Ivan Martinez & Raul Zapata. Their paths begin in mid-90s, influenced at the time by the large producers and dj's the old school techno.

Their productions are currently being carried obvious break and worked the rhythmic blending of other styles such as dub and Industrial among others. Always keeping the darkness, seriousness and elegance in each of his subjects.

Evolution and experience after the 1st album, has led to a change of style from his second job, where the nuances Minimal, like clicks and noises among others, have gone to another level, giving priority to industrial rhythmic and more pigeonholed to break and downtempo, while taking into account, their albums, do not lack variety and are a fusion of various styles.

Quante sfumature possono esistere dentro un solo minuto di percezione? Quanti paesaggi possono svelarsi al passaggio di tale percezione? Quale colore usare per descriverla? Leonardo Rosado ha scelto il bianco ed è riuscito a penetrare in tutte le sue variabili cromatiche, da quella morbida ed avvolgente raggiungendo la più lontana e rilucente. Lo ha fatto usando un muro di suono virtuale, quella barriera creata dalla nostra 'incapacità penetrativa' che magicamente scompare appena l'intuizione del Suono diventa palpabile, distinguibile. Quattro Variazioni di tono man mano sempre più vicine al nucleo splendente purezza che racchiudono ognuna decine di percorsi sonori di indecifrabile attrazione. 'Rumore bianco' che nasconde melodia ammantata di luminescente visione. Un sogno nell'indefinito spazio riservato a noi, disegnatori virtuali resi ciechi dall'abbagliante bellezza del mondo invisibile.

Laverna ha deciso di allontanarsi dal solito percorso espressamente electronic oriented per dedicarsi alla delicata introspezione che solo il suono di un Grand Piano può donare.
Lo ha fatto con Piano Texture Found, tre tracce di esemplare purezza ambient create da Bruno Sanfilippo, musicista argentino trapiantato a Barcellona, che interpreta la diafana bellezza del silenzio racchiudendolo dentro gocce di limpida sacralità pianistica.

The antagonistic relationship between man and machine (about the future... or maybe already the present!) and the much-debated opposition to evil (about the past... but also a question of eternity?) are the themes of the two tracks of this work, dealt with the amount of dark energy to which we have become accustomed by previous Subbase's releases on Shrammaka Recordings.

It is a mystery that I can not comprehend, as a stimulus below the threshold of perception, like a ultrasonic melody of peace. It's a secret, do not know what is. But I know that the road leading to it is called transcendence and living in the palace of emptiness. I know it only when you stop being myself, when I die really, I can see it.

Perhaps, in the final analysis, we all see the same thing but interpret it in different ways. So, some on 12th, I go to church and talk to her in the language without words until one day I respond with the music without sound.

- Technical Information.

The system is programmed to control a church organ,via MIDI, with a computer. The computer control is a
livecoding improvisation with the SuperCollider programming language. Emphasis on semi-deterministic and algorithmic processes is achieved that once saved improvisation code as a function, can be automatically performed by the computer and the results are significantly different.

For this'' release'', in the absence of a church organ, I used the excellent software Aeolus of Fons Adriaensen.

Our eleventh album of deep and mysterious longform ambient music.
A continuous, 53 minute long piece split into seven parts.

The music is generative:
each note is played in a long loop, the length of each loop if different for each note, so although the music may seem to vary only slightly, it never quite repeats itself.

The tracks on this album (and albums to follow) are named after Apollo near-Earth asteroids, objects whose orbits cross that of Earth.
There are many hundreds of known Apollo asteroids, though only a few dozen have been named officially, so I may run out of names from this list as quickly as I did with TNOs.

I have also been working on surround sound mixes of previous albums. These will become available over the next few months.

Subterrestrial presents "Transmissions from the Hollow Earth 2", the follow up to the original Transmissions from the Hollow Earth. Composed and performed entirely in Berna, a software simulation of a late 1950s electroacoustic music studio, "Transmissions from the Hollow Earth 2" takes a more complex approach with more of a focus on loop manipulation. However, like the original TftHE2 evokes dark musique concrete dronescapes utilizing only the simplest of parameters.

Collin Thomas is back on Resting Bell with another wonderful piece of music. You might remember his first Resting Bell-contribution, the enormous 2 hour-piece "April Triptych", released in April 2011. Or one his other releases on labels like Impulsive Habitat, escala, Public Spaces Lab or Pocket Fields.

Collin's new RB-release "Score to a Quotidian Experience" is again a single track with a duration of 67 minutes. Quiet, Slow, and Distant, this piece is intended as an everyday-life soundtrack. It is the hope that the piece will be played during normal activities: cooking, reading, driving, sleeping, even listening to other music or watching TV. It is true background music that could be listened to with headphones in bed, but can be just as rewarding played on small speakers, being drowned out by the outside world.

"Forget The Theory" features two arrangements and five original pieces written by Kevin Higgins for his group Nature - a quartet with voice, electric guitar, electric bass and drums. The material was honed in a dozen live performances, then recorded over two days in spring 2012. The result is an album of dark grooves, mixing techno, funk and dubstep with contemporary jazz.

In the foreground, ethereal vocals and frenzied guitar carry on an improvised dialogue. "Forget The Theory" captures the energy of their alternating conflict and cooperation. Behind them there's tension of another kind, as club-inspired drum beats threaten to melt into jazz cross-rhythms.

This album was built off basslines: some abstract and symmetrically structured, some just funky. Either way, every tune was designed to make you nod your head. Enjoy the bouncy pulse and powerful perfomances of a young band playing with passion.
