We are Achondar, a (dark) ambient project formed in 2013 and we would like to present you our debut album, 'Skull of New One', that is a collection of magical, mystical, ritualistic ambient pieces inspired by the universe of The Tone Rebellion, its mythology and mystic places, but no knowledge of it is required in order to 'understand' or enjoy the album, it is a stand-alone piece for fans of dark fantasy music in general. Some pieces are dark and brooding, some more serene and peaceful, we aimed to create quite a diverse record with pretty unique atmosphere and we hope that we managed to achieve that goal.

All tracks composed, mixed and produced by Achondar.

Gorgonops

Gorgonops is an extinct genus of therapsid which lived about 255-250 million years ago, during the latest part of the Permian Period. It was a typical representative of the suborder Gorgonopsia, the dominant predators of their day, which in the largest forms grew to over four metres long. Gorgonops possessed highly developed, 12-cm long "sabre" canine teeth, similar to those found in sabre-toothed cats in the Cenozoic. Arguments have even been made for therapsids of its time being endothermic, though no strong evidence exists either way. All of the gorgonopsids are believed to have died out in the Permian extinction.

I’m glad to present the first EP of Swell Sounds, a US based Ambient artist and music student in Seattle. That EP contains 4 atmospheric ambient tunes made with the help of a Sk-8 sampler keyboard. Starting with “Sk-8” an obsessive ambient piece, plunging the listener right into Swell Sounds universe after a few second, then going on with “Eidolan”, the beast of this EP, while the atmosphere is it still keep the overall flavour of the EP, that track is loaded with a relentless flaw of hard beats in its background, giving the track a strong Industrial, and almost Hardcore, feeling. Then Swell Sounds takes us back to calm territories with “Luminance” and “I Feel” two deep and soulful ambient-ish pieces for a nice finish.

Эмбиент впитавший в себя звуки быта, свободные импровизации и теорию электроакустической музыки. Сырая и необработанная электроника, какая она была в своем первозданном виде.

The album "45 minutes in hard drive through different ways" was born as a soundtrack for an audio visual installation presenata in September 2012 in Valletta, capital of Malta, during the White Night, commissioned by the Malta Council for Culture and the arts. The Maltese show of 10 hours, including a live painting on three canvases (150 x 100) mounted in a prism, some of the sets with video projection art during the concert, is an attempt to insert an unusual artistic expression in a particular context of this location of the center of the Mediterranean. The show also includes body painting and audiovisual installation from which the music of the album is about. "Watch the white noise of the night!: A full immersion in multimedia arts" 1) During the first part (live painting), the contrast between past and present, will resonate in the choice of colors and techniques (acrylic on canvas and waste materials of the place). Electronic music, composed and played by the same, will accompany the whole stage, where the hand del'artista will move from the canvas to the body. The body art as a representation of an art is not an end in itself, but an encounter with the past that palpable decided on this, the reltà concrete which acts directly on the viewer, trying to actively engage in the artistic process. The idea of popular art, reminiscent of street art. The contact with the public and involvement are the first and fundamental step in understanding the entire show. 2) The next step is the musical performance, where the color forms are transformed into live music, thanks to the whole band: Stephen Strong on bass, Fabio Outlines on drums, Francesco Baiocchi (writer and composer) on voice and on guitar. 3) The electronic sounds develop and unfold within this particular context, where the rock is mixed with colors, which in turn act as a vehicle for the perception of reality. The third and last part is represented by the projection of a three-dimensional video, prepared and studied at the White Night of Valletta. Projected images, not just the buildings and the ancient architectural structures of the place, will affect the viewers themselves, by entering the public and their presence within the work. An art that learn from people, and that the use of colors and shapes look mainly to tell his age. The idea of the music that is never separated from painting, to sum up this process with the aid of video (in parallel with the accompanying musical performance) is in turn the need for an art able to get through a game of synaesthesia , to the viewers. A process that simultaneously develops all its forms, trying to represent the conflicts and problems of the present. The precise lines of motherboards and other computer components (history of our times), add colors from different shapes, representing the contemporary chaos (communicative-urban-cultural). The music acts in the same direction of visual art. The idea of the video installation summarizes and synthesizes the entire process synaesthetic. In it lies the true essence of the project: art as a set of techniques that are accessible to everyone in which the three-dimensional and the physical and visual contact on the viewers themselves play a crucial role in the idea of a present dominated by disorder and speed delusional. The landscape intact and inviolate of 'Ancient city of Malta, is part of this message veicolativo, directing towards a smarter use of art and its forms (which, although times to the present and real, like fundamental point of departure) do not forget the past. Synaesthesia Mediterranean: Observe the sounds by listening to the colors. What Francesco Baiocchi offers is an innovative idea of contamination of various art forms. The senses of perception come together and mingle in an art project to create a new conception of art. During the ten-hour show painting and music make space with each other, contaminating each other. The electronic sounds of Motherboards Project, (Francesco Baiocchi, Fabio and Stephen Strong Side) accompanying the entire performance, are transformed into colors, the artist will present the live painting, dynamic and in constant motion. The art of Francesco Baiocchi not separate forms of expression. Every single step of the artistic process is essential to the work, conceived in its entirety. And it is within this conception that the viewer is involved in the same building and the transformations it undergoes. The Body-Art, proposal, therefore, moves in this direction, seeking contact with the viewer, which becomes part of the process. And it will be in the final part of the show you will see and understand fully the creative game yet articulated on different art forms. The video will be presented is nothing more than a compendium finale of the show. In it, the concept of pictorial and musical Francesco Baiocchi, along the lines of creative display will open to a representation typically designed and adapted to the location in Malta. The enclosed space of a common place and passage, like the old market in Valletta, becomes the ideal setting for this show, where the daily flow of people of all ages, ethnicities and cultures, represents the ideal stage where represent new concepts , new ways of thinking and conceiving represented. Through the use of different languages artisci, subscribed to a single process, the physical boundaries are broken due to this continuous communication between artist and viewer that leads to the knowledge and the exploration of diversity. The show of Francesco Baiocchi arrive so the Notte Bianca Malta proposing, in ten-hour show, the synthesis of an original and innovative artistic process. The album "45 minutes in hard drive through different ways" was entirely composed and recorded by Francesco Baiocchi.

Enshrine music proudly presents it's fourth release in Net Series catalogue: second EP from talented newcomer Extend! Extend is Vladimir from Belgrade, Serbia. He's already well known for his progressive and techno project Float, releasing music and performing live since 2008. Lately, with discovery of various musical styles and genres, he started expressing his ideas through two new projects: Under The Falling Sky (ambient, space, drone, soundscapes) and Extend, which focuses on all kinds of broken beats, glitches and atmospheres. After his first EP on Enshrine (Change To Be The Same EP - ENN02), Extend continues his sonic explorations with two new amazing tracks. Anchor Empire stretches across IDM, dubstep and breakbeat territories, connecting light and warm pads and chords with dark and unsettling guitar riffs and raw glitches. Pros & Cons is produced in collaboration with Ariva, another Serbian newcomer, which is a new project from Vid Marjanovic, Vladimir's production,dj and event organizing partner. This tracks flows towards jazzy organic fields with it's dynamic and shuffled rhythms and subtropical rainforest flutes, but does not exclude Extend's psychedelic layers and atmospheres. This release is free/donation based and will be released on 9th May 2013 exclusively on bandcamp.

All the music on this album is completely improvised.
I start with a note or two and see where the music takes me.

The music was performed on laptop and midi keyboard (using Reason and Ableton Live) and guitar (mainly played with an ebow).

The cover art is derived from a satellite image showing the locations of these recording.

Музыкальные интересы иногда могут пересекаться. И иногда из этого пересечения рождаются сплит альбомы, тем более, что интернет даёт возможность объединиться музыкантам по всему миру. Вот пример: Inside the Mind из родного Волжского и московская банда из одного человека Riverhorse, списавшись решили объединить своё творчество в одном альбоме. Так и родился SPLT...
На этот раз песни Inside the Mind, по сравнению с предыдущим альбомом, уходят в гаражный рок. Хотя нет это нойз поп, старый добрый нойз поп в духе Jesus & Mary Chain, ну может не такой сладкий на слух и более истеричен.
Riverhorse более аутентичны движению Lo-Fi. Но не в широком смысле некачественной записи, в более узком но, что его определило как жанр, а именно простые поп-песни записанные на старые магнитофоны без всякой обработки.

In the beginning of his solo career, he has collaborated with many musician like Melinda Ligeti, Sergi Boal, Aleksandra Dokic. By getting to know Melinda Ligeti and beginning their collaboration, Sava has started to work on his debut album.
His solo career is based on an experimental approach to ambient music, free improvisation and minimalism. On his first album guests are the musicians Dragan Gojic, Sava's brother Nikola Marinkovic (Harry Deorbit), Nikola Kato the keyboardist of the band Demetrin and Melinda Ligeti.
Nowhere Near is short story. Simple, slow and quiet album wich is trying to express ones soul. It is music experiment consisting of five songs, from the clear blue ambient, to the dark and melancholy electronic emotions.

Latvian producer Aramaki brought us his latest album WSOL. The title reffers to “Why so long?” because his attempts to finish and release this album took him about 2 years. And it was worth it! It’s definately our honor and privelege to share this 1 hour long material of outstanding intelligent electronic and trip-hop music with acoustic instrumental parts as well as subtle fx’s and pretty massive basslines. "Cercle" is my most spiritual project. the most introspective. In this little EP the music flows, the themes don't have any concrete structure, and maybe this gives the sensation of a visual dream, the sensation that you are floating, and you could create images, thoughts, sensations.... Not having a concrete structure, there's no beginning, no end ; it's like a circle! All the songs were recorded in one or two takes.only with a nylon guitar.
The music was almost improvised, except the theme "NILS" that was a rework of the pianist Nils Frahm, from one song of his album "Screws", trying to "move" the sounds of his personal piano, to the guitar..
I recorded this EP with Hector Xiqués ( I/O Estudi de Gravació, Barcelona),and we tried to give that especial sound of the guitar, with some delays, and reverbs.

ZEUS LP is the first collection of sounds that were discovered by the Zeus Scientist Research Group, led by physicist Eric Rogers at Princeton University from 1942 until 1971. The twelve sounds which can be heard are in chronological order, dating back to the 19th century, with “I’m Terribly Sorry, Mr. Polkingtone” being the earliest sound that was found. Strange as it seems, ZEUS LP follows musical structures that were completely ahead of its time. How could these sounds be made? Who made them? And why would someone do that?

The Zeus Scientist Research Group soon discovered that they couldn’t find answers to all these questions. They realized that they weren’t able to do so because they asked wrong. Professor Rogers suggested to rather ask when the sounds of Zeus Scientist were made. This led the scientists at Princeton University to a theory that they worked out together with famous mathematician Kurt Gödel in 1948. It should one year later inspire Gödel for his so called “Gödel Metric”.

Now for the first time these sounds are being made available for the public.

Gelagert und neu eingekorkt, und mit Liebe gedreht, wurde aus einer Traube das handwerklich vollendete Produkt, welches wir euch heute präsentieren dürfen. Eine Mischung aus den 9 folgenden Jahren, im Geschmack mild, sauer, sägezahnartig, im Abgang rund und lieblich! Schon nach der Lese 2003 war klar, dass dies eine ganz besondere Dekade wird. Lasst euch mitnehmen, entkorkt euch einen Flasche dieses edlen Tropfens und genießt den Sound der letzten 10 Jahre künstlerischen Schaffens.

The sound selection has always been a long and accurately planned process by Clemens Acidus. A long time has passed and the 2003 vintage should be a good one! Stored, newly bottled and twisted with love turned the grape into the accomplished product that we are proud to present today. A mix of the following 9 years – mild, sour and saw tooth-like in taste, round and lovely at the end. This had to be a special decade after the harvest in 2003! Let the beat electrify you, open up a bottle of such good wine and enjoy the sound of the past 10 years of great music production.
