ARTIST STATEMENT:
This piece was conceived using elements from DYS016 and DYS017 by Katie Gately and The Icarus Descent. These underlying foundations were built upon by recreating phantom sounds/auditory hallucinations heard while listening to the skeleton track in meditation. The structures which eventually formed from these sessions were developed further in order to make sense with each other both aesthetically and compositionally.

ABOUT DYSTIMBRIA: 
The Dystimbria label seeks to bring artists working in ambient and in noise to a creative crossroads.  Each release in the catalogue is a continuation of the larger project, each one utilizes samples from the previous releases in the continuum.
