    Welcome to the Encyclopedia of timeless 
    moods of countervision, hiding in an abyss 
    of mindless n happy consumerism. 

    This is music by and for criticizing poets, 
    slendering peacefully and angry through 
    the streets of hypercapitalist cities, 
    today and through history, playing their 
    beats and trumpets with attitude, recognizing 
    the moods and notes, that inspire their next 
    tracks.

    They call this music Experimental Schizo Noir 
    Trip Hop and this is what we get. 

    Phonocake is glad to finally bring a full 
    length album by «The Fucked Up Beat», a duo 
    consisting of Brett Zehner (Beats/Words) 
    and Eddie Palmer (Sounds/Instruments), 
    who create their tunes remotely in an 
    collaborative way, bridging time and space. 

    Tha album was originally intended to be 
    published on the netlabel «No Echo», but 
    due to the passing by of it's active head 
    the label is history.

    Das ist die Musik von und für Kritiker,
    die friedlich und wütend durch die Straßen 
    hyperkapitalistischer Städte schlendern, 
    heute und vor den Zeiten, ihre Rhythmen 
    und Instrumente mit Einstellungen spielend,
    die Stimmungen und Noten für ihre nächsten
    Lieder aufnehmend. 

    Sie nennen diese Musik Experimental Schizo Noir 
    Trip Hop und das ist es, was wir bekommen. 

    Phonocake freut sich, doch noch ein komplettes
    Album des Duos «The Fucked Up Beat» bringen 
    zu können. Das Duo besteht aus Brett Zehner 
    (Beats/Words) aus San Diego in Kalifornien 
    und Eddie Palmer (Sounds/Instruments) in 
    New York City, die ihre tunes meistens über 
    entfernte Wege zusammen erstellen. 

    Das Album sollte ursprünglich auf dem Netlabel 
    «No Echo» herauskommen, aber aufgrund des 
    Verscheidens seines aktiven Makers ist das 
    Netlabel nun Geschichte.
