    The shadows show the way of light. The 
    frequencies light zhe path of data to 
    our souls. Also the darkness can provide
    shadows. 

    With this EP we document one of Trans Alps 
    concerts of the last years, which is also 
    a take of one of his musical processes, 
    which can be described as developing the 
    tracks from one concert to another. 

    The EP brings five tracks of a concert, 
    taken place in the now vanished off/space 
    »Krautwaldfabrik«. This former cultural 
    space is documented in the magazine CYNAL 01 
    (in German language only):

    Trans Alp mixes small acoustic sound objects
    with analogue synths as well as digital work 
    during his concerts. Also you can perceive 
    his graphical art through his music.

    Der Schatten zeigt uns den Weg des Lichts. 
    Die Frequenzen leuchten den Pfad der Daten 
    in unsere Seelen. Auch in der Dunkelheit 
    gibt es Schatten.

    Mit der EP Nachtschatten dokumentieren wir 
    ein Konzert, dass Trans Alp 2011 in der nun 
    verschwundenen "Krautwaldfabrik" in Dresden 
    gab. Es ist sein Stil, Lieder von einem 
    Konzert zum nächsten zu tragen und dabei 
    weiterzuentwickeln. In der EP hören wir 
    fünf Lieder in vier Stücken, die es zu 
    einem finalen Punkt geschafft haben. 

    Trans Alp mixt in seinen Konzerten kleine 
    akustische Klanggeber mit analogen Synthies 
    sowie Digitalverarbeitung. In diesen Arbeiten 
    hört man auch deutlich seine grafisch-fragilen
    Tätigkeiten heraus.
