to release flac and mp3 https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#label/Phonocake/134e1a94b4ec6e54 hehe, its time to lay around in our loved Vondelpark, around the Blauwe Theehuis, watching the stars while sharing the double split headphone adapter to listen to Spyckers life enjoying electronica experiments. Don't be afraid of a fresh mixed up everything music, which is hard to categorize, but makes fun to listen to or also to just let it go in a summerly background. The artist calls it like ‘old school stammer hop’, ‘tight-ass folk trash’ or ‘twisted trip noise’ : ) Welcome to our mixed up future. These three songs are part of a project entitled Ner Begot Kish, a collection of eight tracks exploring the realms of experimental electronica. Classifying it in genre terminology gives birth to rare exotic varieties as ‘old school stammer hop’, ‘tight-ass folk trash’ and ‘twisted trip noise’. The music may be slightly too investigational to be danceable, but it’s quite hard to hold your head still listening to it. Spycker has been making music all his life, but only recently decided to come up with solid fabrications. In 2011, Spycker released a set of dark and dreamy guitar drones on Webbed Hand records. Currently, he is busy recording an album with acoustic singer-songwriter stuff. And the future is likely to bring much more excursions into the glorious and supreme, the infinite world of Music. As TozzRox, he debuted with a heap of experimental synth debris on Headphonica. In 2011, Spycker released a set of dark and dreamy guitar drones on Webbed Hand Records. Following the Phonocake release of Ner Begot Kish, Spycker will take a next turn to explore his singer-songwriter knacks. And the future is likely to bring many more ventures into the glorious, infinite world of Music. Spycker – Ner Begot Kish Ner Begot Kish explores the realms of experimental electronica. Set off with some old school stammer hop and a dash of spinning oriental funk, absorb a little spellbinding siren dub before dancing the sweet disco storm. Don’t let the subsequent tight-ass folk trash deceive you; shortly you will be loosening your nerves again with some twisted trip noise and do the freak to real mad folly. Finally, lie back again, take a deep breath and taste the pleasure of falling asleep to the ultimate lullaby, if there ever was one… Track listing: 1 Lopend over klinkers 3:55 2 Parallel crying 2:32 3 Yu bread is grief 4:02 4 Kakelbonte kleêren 3:22 5 Yoke heavy 3:39 6 Transitiemomenten 3:37 7 Insecure attachment 3:44 8 Naderend voorjaar 4:45 Duration: 29:41 YouTube: Parallel crying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjHLUSPQ6LM Haha, it's amazing that you know the word Mokum! The word is used by the Amsterdammers as a pet name for their beloved city, but outside of Amsterdam it's not really common. And cool that you have been in the Blauwe Theehuis, that's the place where I go in summertime to meet up with friends, and it's not far from where I live. I'm happy you like my music. It's pretty unclassifiable. I have very diverse musical tastes which probably reflects in my own music... As regards the file format, I would like to provide the album in both mp3 and lossless (flac or wav) format, so people have a choice. The picture you sent is beautiful, nature is a true artist. I am planning to visit Iceland this year, where I expect to see much amazing natural wonders. It is unexpectedly cold in Amsterdam too. People here are all very excited by the possibility of having a famous ice skate event (the so-called 'Elfstedentocht') that only takes place when the ice on the rivers is thick enough. The last time that was the case was in 1997, so you can imagine the hype. As for myself, I will be glad my central heating system stays alive for the time being... As regards the title 'Ner Begot Kish': it doesn't refer to some deeper meaning. It's just that when I finish a song, or in this case an album, I pick the title from a book I'm reading at that moment, which in this case happened to be the bible. And 'Ner Begot Kish' sounded weird enough and thus right for the music on the abum. "Greetz to my friends and family in Mokum and all the great Dresdner artists who make this world a groovier place. Special thanks to Sven and his Phonocake colleagues for letting me release my music through their fantastic label. Forever obliged!"
