Afrasonic is a Berber (Amazigh) Moroccan underground artist living
between Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and the city of Nice (southern
France). 

Born in Casablanca in 1982, he settled in France in 2000 in order tostudy in law school. In 2009, he .nished his PHD studies on intellectual property. 
During 7 years, he improved his musical knowledge, joining somebands as an Mc and guitar player and collaborating in many hip hopand dub projects. 
In Nice,in 2001, he met PaxLab, a french producer, beatmaker,composer and Dj (Hip Hop/Dubstep/Electro…). Since this time, thetwo artists still work together in collaboration projects. 
In 2007, Afrasonic became a "solo" artist. He produced 2 albums available in free download under Creative Commons License (SadCosmic Instruments-2009/ Moroccan UFO-2011) creating a very personal musical universe by mixing sounds and in.uences, betweenjoy and melancholy. Oftenly his tracks are a subtle mixture of Electro,Ambient, Trip hop, hip hop and dub. This is due to the eclectic in.uences of the artist: From apex twin to Tupac, from Daft punk toSublime, from traditional to electronic sounds. 
In 2011, Afrasonic and PaxLab produced the track "Vox And Chaos" that appears on the "Spring" project (The mediterranean revolutionNet Tape) produced by the Art-AK association.They also produced the"Jingle FTP", .rst track of the FTP Krew net tape. 
Afrasonic is now working on his new album, that will be available in2012.
